If Balotelli, Dzeko and Milner where to get in.. I would remove Vieira and Robinho and RSC. After that - a really good squad with perhaps a few question marks in the defense (read Bridge).
Spot on for me.. including not naming Vieira in the 25

There is no way on earth Bobby will leave Vieira out of the final 25...sad but true

Because I created the original list at the top of the thread I should mention that it has since been pointed out to me that because Joe Hart joined the club in May 2006 he probably does not qualify as a "club-trained" player for the purposes of UEFA. Nonetheless, he is still a homegrown player for the premier league and an association-trained player for the Europa League. Also, it is still fairly straightforward to meet the requirement of 4 club-trained players for Europe.

Hey Florida, don't want to make this back slapping time, but aren't you glad our professional sports don't have all this
red-tape BS???
No, they have far more. They're just used to it.
It does seem like we might end up having a few players who are registered to play the prem but not in UEFA and vice versa. Makes sense in some ways when we'll have so many matches so would be rotating anyway. I could see guys like RSC or MJ being UEFA only guys.

and yr right Ronk that the US has squad restrictions, and deadlines for squad size/roster finalization in every sport, and additional players in some sports for practice squads, etc...some teams even have minor league or other divisional affiliates which they use to rehab players or provide growth to younger players, with complexities around how they can be allocated to those clubs, etc.
One thing certain US sports could learn from football is relegation. If Baseball had relegation and a Champions League from leagues around the world? it would maybe be one of the cooler things to happen to baseball in decades.
WRT City i think we'll have plenty of playing time to dole out even to some players we think will end up as fringe players.
cheers

Two words.... Santa Cruz--send him to Fulham. It'll mean three times the charm for Sparky.
