Think we only paid £1.5mil for him
Really liked him, thought his defending had came on loads from when he first arrived. Hope he does well at Lazio

Pity he never quite made it, great geezer, always did his best, respected the club & never caused any shit. Hope he gets plenty of games & is a success over there.

i thought we paid 500k? so 2.5 is great business.
Personally id of kept him and shifted out bridge, hes a decent 2nd choice(bridge will cause more harm than good as second choice) and he would of kept silva company. One of my fave players recently and im not sure why, the free kick against scouse was class and ill always remember him for that
best of luck
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was bought for £1.5m (€2.2 million) so seems a good deal to me.

Good luck to SpazGaz. Preferred him to Bridge tbh and still think he could've been handy as back-up to Kolarov.
Just a bit too slow to ever really make it at a top club. The talent is there, there's a reason he represented Spain at all the youth levels up to U-21. Thinking about it, Spain's current left-back Capdevilla isn't miles ahead of Garrido imo. Which probably says something about lack of quality Spanish left-backs more than anything. Come to think about it, their right-back Ramos is the most overrated piece of crap ever so it looks like Spain have only got shit full-backs but still managed to win the European Championships and World Cup. Just imagine how good they'd be if they had Phillip Lahm ;-)

Gave me one of my fav moments last season when he scored at Wolves. Was at the game with Ant freezing our tits off and it made it worth it when he scored that collectors item of a goal. Top pro, wish more were like him!!

Selling a player on at a profit. When do you think the next time that will happen!
Good luck Spanish Gaz. If one you were a tad quicker you would be a top class player.

Best dead ball specialist in the squad by a long way. Shame he didn't have the confidence to demand to take freekicks and corners.
Good Luck Garrido!

Really gutted to see him leave... I guesd we are selling cause we will actually make a profit if we sell him rather than Bridge...

A player who was always going to need opportunities to develop to his potential. Once the big money came in he was finished for us, but he never complained. There were never any rumours about him because nothing ever leaked from his end. Model pro.
He could do well, and I wish him luck. That thrashing against Chelsea really knocked the stuffing out of him for a while but he bounced back eventually.
