You can change the title of any of your posts if you wish. I've done it a few times and no-one has ever noticed - good way of making stealth insults.
Looking forward to seeing what reaction Hughes will get in the ground when he comes back.

Isaid at the outset of his tenure for us that he was,nt imo the man for the job.But i also said and Origial Dub can back me on this that i was prepared to give him time and in all the time he was with us imo he was outstanding in fighting our corner with the media so from me its best wishes apart from the 2 prem games against us.

The fucking point, as you so eloquently put it, is that Fulham are our rivals and we shouldn't be wishing their new manager good luck (in my opinion).
Rivals my arse. If they are rivals then we're fucked & you know it. Lots of people have made comments wishing people good luck without all this nonsense. I bet someone even wished Hodgson good luck & they ARE rivals. No need for this at all.
Absolutely right. IF Fulham are roughly in the same part of the league table as us at say Christmas I would expect we will be looking for a new manager as I firmly expect Fulham to be in the bottom half of the league.
Despite or because of Leslie?
;-)
I think Fulham way overachieved last year and this year will find them out.I expected that if Hodgson had still been there and my opinion hasnt changed.
They will be below us at Christmas, but dont forget Hughes' methods improve players, AND, they always do better in the 2nd half of the season
Edit to say: actually we will finish above Fulham this season and the next 2 after that, as he needs at least 4, maybe 6 transfer windows.

If Hughes takes that side to a top four place then he is a damn sight better manager than anyone detractors or fans consider him to be.Top four contenders is where our rivals are.
Only time will tell I suppose
but I only hope they don't have all this good luck that is being wished upon them.I reckon you should post more often btw, it's nice to have a reasoned debate with somebody who has oposing opinions without them getting personal/abusive!
The good luck faires have been out and about lately... Chill out buddy, its not like people wishing him luck will have any effect whatsoever on Fulham's results next year.

Tried his hardest and it just didn’t work out for him with us. No one could doubt his commitment to the job until it was taken away from him and he did an excellent job for sticking up for us when we were getting stick from all sides. Hasn’t came out and bad mouthed since either.
He has my well wishes and he will be back on the Xmas card list if he takes RSC with him.

This
I agree to a certain extent. I find some people's obsession with hughes quite sickening.
"I'm the biggest blue, I hate Hughes and Munichs and everything to do with them....you all sicken me as you have half a brain and can acknowledge talent even if its in a red shirt"
Bore off already will you
Anyway
Good luck Hughesy....shabbily treated here. Good luck at the Cottage and I'll be following the results with interest. At least u won't have to put up with some of the idiotic opposition you did at City from now on

Good luck Mark.
Whilst im in no way hopefull of the following event occuring, should Mark's Fulham soundly beat us at any time next season, reactions from some of the sack lickers on this site would be very interesting to read.

Adressing the problems at Carrington. Setting the wheels in motion for a top-5 finish last season and the chance of silverware in the carling cup. For signing Given, Kompany, Bellamy, de Jong, Tevez, Adebayor, SWP, Zabaleta.

also standing up for the club in the face of a hostile media/derogatory comments from the likes of wenger et al, conducting himself with dignity throughout, not caving into the tabloids and doing a "kiss and tell" style bitter post-sacking "expose", when he was well within his rights to. also getting us playing some brilliant (if defensively naive) football, giving me two or three of the best city games i've been to.

Some great comments and its good to see people supporting former employees. One question. Is this guy Hughes you are talking about any relation to the idiot manager we dumped in December last year? I think they share the same surname but I could be wrong.

I think you are wrong. The only things relating to idiots that I can think of are comments like those.
