I went for 4th, but if Fabregas leaves Arsenal I think we might have a chance of 3rd.

I predict third. I think we are still behind Chelsea as far as squad balance goes and almost all of their players are at the peak of their careers and have played together for a long time. Rags have experience of doing well which is important but their squad is quite old so this crop of players will be successfull for maybe one or two years still and then they need to make dramatic changes.

Overall I think we are stronger than Arsenal and as usual they will go on a poor run at some stage. Tottenham are decent side but not quite up there. It's interesting to see what happens with Liverpool. If they get rid of Mascherano, who I feel is seriously overrated, and spend the money on left back and top striker they could turn out to be contenders again. As things stand, they have no depth in squad to be serious contenders.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I've gone for second.

I think we'll challenge for the title all season and at some points we'll appear to have it in the bag. It'll go down to the wire and we'll be left heartbroken as we'll lose out on the last day to either Chelsea or the scum.

Typical.

Agree with the prediction, thrird for me too. Arsenel keeping Fabregas,Van Persie staying fit and Wenger making a decent centre half signing could make it tough.

I also agree about Mascherano. The most overrated footballer on the planet. If I was Hodgson, I'd bite Inter's hand off if they offer anything like the £25Mil which Liverpool turned down last summer.

Initially I was saying fifth (just being cautious after all the years of disappointment) but the signings we've made are really encouraging. Yaya Touré is a class above anything we've had in midfield for a long, long time and Silva looks exciting, even if it might take him a while to bed in. Don't know an awful lot about Kolarov in all honesty but I'll trust everyone else's judgement.

So, now, I'm going to say 4th place. Rags and Chelsea are still stronger, Arsenal have the potential to be if they show up (who knows with them) but we have a vastly superior squad now to Spurs, Liverpool and the rest. If things go well there's no reason we can't finish higher but I'd still be more than happy with 4th place and all the rewards it brings.

With our current signings we have an excellent chance of third. Any more coming in will be icing on the cake.

I went for 3rd, i think it might be a year to early for us to challenge for the title. I would love City to prove me wrong though.

gonna wait till i see who else we land and how the rest of pre-season pans out. I think we may well surprise a lot of people this season including ourselves. At the mo id go for a safe 3rd. But if the new players get to grips as good as Yaya looks like he might then i really think it will be open season and we will be challenging all the way if not even out front.

3rd for me, just think its going to take another season before we can be champions. That's not to say we're not to going to run them close this time but I can see us falling away towards the back end of the season

Champions no bother at all. I don't think Chelsea have it in them to do two in a row, and the scum will definitely finish below us.

Who the hell voted fifth? Are there rag imposters here?
