Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Had a really super article on David Silva submitted to my website the other day so thought people might like to have a look.
Basically it's an in depth analysis of a game from last season where he destroyed Bilbao, scoring twice.
There's too many pics to copy and paste so just click the link to see it -

I don't think you promote that sie enough xavi. The articles on it generally pretty good, especially the guy who does your a-league stuff. He deserves an award.
I'll push for more quantity this season mate, if that suits.

good article, thanks xavi. reflects what a few of us on here have been saying in regards to movement, the AM and bringing the best out in other players. I hope very much that Silva and Yaya become the catalysts of some good midfield play. It is what we are missing and it is what would turn us into a really decent team.

Interesting stuff cheers. I imagine Silva will play more than one position for City, possibly both sides & centrally.

I enjoyed that, thansk for linking. If Silva plays centrally he is going to LOVE Ade since the guy spends most of his time out wide.

Interesting read. Thanks for the link.
Will be very interesting to see how he settles into the Premier League and how he links with our attacking players. Should be fun.

The first thing I hope him and Yaya do, is teach us how to keep hold of the ball.

Brilliant post as always! I've really always wanted to know how Silva played in that one match. it's quite obvious you weren't plugging your website at all. Honestly.
PS. You don't happen to have a report on how McManamamananamaman played on his debut for us against Villa do you?
Thanks.

Exactly
The quality in the middle of the park at times, especially when Vieria, Zabs and the young boys were in there was severely lacking. Simple things like move into space, receive the ball then pass it and move again, seemed beyond alot of them.
