That might give this some energy.....Vince should have leathered him
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

Ah, no way. Never a red for me. If anything, Materazzi gave more of an elbow.

Passed to death the first 10 mins, but Inter did little with it.

It's kicking off big time now...Vieira sent off... Kompo booked just prior to that

Never a Red, we'll probably play better without him anyway IMO

FFS

With a bit of luck, it might be the last time Vieira gets a start for us. (Here's hoping)

Fuckin ridiculus. Paddy was going backwards. And that was the cunt that ran the length of the field to get at Kompany.

will be more interesting to see how the defence stands up now, particularly without bobby there.

maybe platt and kidd can find a way to defend without forgetting that the aim of the game is to score

Maybe I'm wrong but it was Paddy's arm on the top of the head and not an elbow to the face. Didn't seem like it was going to cause any damage and Materazzi completely overreacted. Ref should have just calmed it all down and realised it's a friendly rather than splashing out the cards everywhere.
