Shit match though. Maybe we'll get a better game now.

It's a pity Bobby isn't there. It would be interesting to see how he would change the set up, if at all.

Just a quick question in regards to sending offs- could the managers, if they're going for a full-team changeover at half time agree to cancel out the sending off, in a kind of 'gentleman's agreement', as it's a non-competitive match? I assume the referees are 'rented' by the teams/organisers, rather than being provided by some federation, so it wouldn't contravene a code of conduct...

The referee has a bit of a reputation in MLS for being an arrogant twat. Probably wanted to make sure he got his attention tonight.

Are we sure made it out of the changing room? What does he have tonight, one touch on the ball?

Hopefully the last start for Jo aswell

No, had bobby been there, you would have seen no difference between the starting formation and now. We would not have attempted to pass the ball over the half way line regardless.

Remember the last game vs Benitez, possibly the worst game I have ever seen at COMS

Absolutely. Ref was a dope. Completely oblivious to the fact that Italians play act. That was dangerous from Materazzi and incidental from Vieira. Ruined what had been turning into a fun match.

I hate these cheating twats, makes a mockery of the rules. However, that was a very cheap goal and I'm not sure from what I've seen this tour, that we can come back.

Shame really, but at least it's a run-out.
