That's just a lie. People have clearly stated they don't want him, it was not just that "one comment questioned whether the fitness/injury record of Torres".
Also, when on the subject of debating if you'd take a player, whether or not he wants to play for us is irrelevant.

I think he'll move next summer and I think we'll be near the head of the queue to get him.
World class player. Hopefully he'll prove his fitness this season, have a nice break next summer and come back fresh with games behind him ready to lead our forward line in our first Champions League season.

It could be one of those Ronaldo type situations where he sticks it for one more season & the club agree to let him go if he wishes to. City would probably still be interested but my bet would be Barca replacing Ibrahimovic with Torres & also signing Fabregas next season, if they can swindle their way past the possible Platini finance implications.
Edit: meant to say our best chance would be Christmas if Liverpool are still shit by then imo.

Oh, and never wanted him anyway, his best days are over.
Did I miss anything out?
You said cheating twice. Ruined the flow. Start over..

Most of the reaction was to Blue Blood's comment about dodging a bullet (which was harsh IMO). Don't call me a liar simply because you disagree with me, why the bloody hell would I go about telling porky pies.
Oh, and it's not irrelevant. It might be irrelevant to whether he's good enough to play for us (he most certainly IS good enough). Whether he wants to play for us though could have a major bearing on whether he would have been a success or a failure and so is relevant to whether it would be a good idea to buy him.
