*****Official****** Dortmund game

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

ESPN are showing it live.

7pm ko i think.

Btw, Tevez, Silva and Boateng only came back to training on Monday so it would be unrealistic to expect them to play against Dortmund tonight. They'll be playing on Saturday against Valencia at Eastlands

My money is on total hysteria. Hell we are verging on hysteria before the match so it won't take much to tip it over the edge :)

It's a shame there isn't a fixtures link that shows all the games and broadcaster information all in one place. The site could do with one of those.

I heard somewhere that ESPN are showing it.

Haha, you sarcastic git.....

I think I got the hint.... I ALWAYS forget about the fixtures page.....

Cheers anywho Ronky

Compare Mancini's CV to 'onest 'arry's and it's pretty obvious which one knows what he's doing.

bookies are taking bets on mass suicide of City fans by half time.. total hysteria doesn't even come close.. apparently even the good Sheik has been screaming his fuclin nuts off in business meetings this morning.. i think it is starting to get to us all this massive potential we have got.

i can imagine a few people will be cocking the gun the first time Micah gets out of position.

right cmon are we taking this pre-season kick-a-bout seriously or what??

predictions time.

im predicting Kolarov knocks himself out in the first ten minutes on the pitch.. short range screamer hits the bar, rebounds and wham, he out cold.

apart from that 3-1 to Dortmund. Kiddo and Phlatt get shipped out and PV takes over as assistant coach.

The worst thing we can do is tell people to calm down. It's threads about pre-season not being important that have wound everyone up.

your right of course.. but then we all slag off bluemong for being.. er mong like..
and whats going to happen if every kick of the ball isnt perfect when we start the season, god forbid that we get it all wrong and lose a game. City fans say that we are different and are self effacing and full of dark humour. Im not expecting things to stay the same but we have to keep a sense of perspective on things or we are going to go the way of 'others' we dont exactly care for.

...can just see Sheikh Mansour with feet up, watching a dodgy stream and muttering "In the Name of Allah the Merciful - who signed that useless donkey...oh wait"

It may have been easier supporting City when the highlight of the season was signing Corradi but I wouldn't miss this white knuckle ride for the world

That's what this forum is about. Calling for calm measured responses and conciliation, then comparing people who don't agree to rags. Just like the good old leslie days.

Today is one of those days where loads of posters are blindly missing sarcasm, I wonder if anyone bites.

Do you think playing the 3 newbees (and another) in one match before we kick off the season real..because I dont.

Im alarmed that we have not had all the new players gel before the grand kick off.......................so yes mate..I think Im real enough to be that alarmed.
