FAO WA blues!!! Help needed

Postby Michael Brookes » Thu Aug 05, 2010 4:36 am

I write this from a dodgy macdonalds in port headland on my way to Perth. I arrive on the 14th and desperately wanna catch the spurs game. Can anyone reccomend a good pub/bar/roadhouse/etc that will be showing the game or failing that what tv channel will be showing it??? Cheers in advance ( off to Kraijini now!-)

The Kangaroo Arms pub in Joondalup is home of the WA supporters club and that's where I'll be watching it. It's about a 25 train journey north of the city so depends where you're staying. I live five minutes from it so nice and handy!

Other than that, all you need is somewhere with Foxtel. The casino's sports bar will have it (that's in Burswood on a different train line) and most pubs in the city will have it on the tv, but don't expect to hear commentary or have anyone else interested in it (unless you go to the the Brass Monkey in Northbridge).

Drop me a PM if you need any more help.

One thing to take into account is the joondalup station isn't very near the pub itself. I would recommend getting a taxi to meet you there.
