Europa League Draw

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I enjoyed are previous trip into Europe as well. Didn't make any of the away legs but didn't miss a home one, and the finale for us against Hamburg was a real memorable moment.

Bring it on!

Funny, and people were pissed off in May as we had to "settle' for this competition. No you KK, but I suspect there are others who though losing to Spuds was the end of the world that now feel this way.

6/1 odds...hmmm

Is it the same people who used to refer to it as 'The Chumps League'?

Anyone know is somewhere a list of all the teams we could face in the play-off?

I'm hoping for a Cypriot team with the first leg away as I'm then in Cyprus having a week long partyyy!

Olympiakos got knocked out so chances are we'll be in Pot 2 regardless of Real Mallorca's appeal. Excellent boost!

Works for me - only an hours drive to either of them !!

Also, could we face Celtic now that they are out of the Champions League ??

I loved the Uefa run last time out. The trip to Schalke was immense. Copenhagen and the first half at Hamburg were jolly good fun too. I never really cared much for the home legs, I'm not keen on the lack of atmos around them and the beer ban proper irritates me. Do they think that cos we're playing some Cypriot outfit we're all going to turn into raving loons? Strangely at Schalke I was glad of the break from the booze in the ground, allowing me to attack the battle cruiser with renewed enthusiasm after the game.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
