just watching villa v valencia now and its not very exciting.
villa slightly better than valencia though.

just under 20k there.
reckon we will have more than that?

meh, we've changed the squad more than pretty much all the other top teams put together and have a newish manager still putting his shape on the team. I fully expect us to start the league slowly, so why panic, won't help us. They're tough fixtures and they won't matter a huge hill of beans compared to the rest of the season.

Spurs away is a tough fixture. A draw would be a reasonable start to the season.

I'd be very grateful for a draw away to spuds on opening day.

I thought Valencia were much better on the ball but missed a striker. Looked like they were resting players, and playing some kids.

Thought Villa were very poor without Milner

Didn't look anything like 19k there. I think City will get at least 25k tomorrow

I thought both sides played some decent stuff for a friendly game. Villa got a lot of crosses 1st half good & bad, Valencia nice passing but no final ball.

i thought villa carved out the better chances and had more chances and downing did very well.
commentaters said the attendance was just under 20k
