word for word what I was going to write. Even IF such thing would occure inside the club I would find it very hard to believe he would go and say stuff like that to supporters.

I don't like either Marwood or Cook and still believe Marwood's appointment was stupid move but surely he wouldn't be stupid enough to start civil war with Mancini, who clearly rates Bellamy, over a player who'll stay here maybe season or two anyway.

One thing though is how hard Marwood and Cook are going to push for Robinho to be reinstated. Mancini clearlo don't like Robinho or want him but Cook only thinks about saving his own face.

i can fuclin assure you that if Cook wants Bellers gone it's because Mancini wants him gone, end of. Same for Ireland.

AND to make it more complex neither of them will leave unless they WANT to leave. i know that, cuz...he fuclin TOLD me that. And i believed him.

How's that sit with you? Your constant slagging off of Cook is actually kinda sad tbh. I think he's a really good thing for the club, and you keep finding ways to ridicule him and basically bash him just like the media wants to do. You are, in effect, doing the same thing they are. We hardly disagree on things in all walks of life, but here you are dead wrong i think bro. He may have some warts but Cook has the best interests of this club and our fans at heart. And i think he feels the same about Marwood. He may come off like a tool sometimes, but he's our tool...and i'm pretty ok with that.

cheers

"Constant slagging off of Cook"??????? What the hell??? I'm not constantly slagging him off. I personally think that this is the kind of person the Club has been missing for ages. I've said it before. Like Grob pointed out, we've had series of football people running the Club and that has only lead into disappointment after disappointment.

I don't however for a second think he is a football man. If I were sharing a pint with him, like CtK told there, I think I'd recognize the fact that he only talks with me because I'm a consumer. I know these people. Couple of my best friends are marketing people and one holds a very high rank (especially for someone only 32). I've witnessed first hand how these people do their business. It's ALL about acting and patting the backs and having drinks and sharing fake laughs. It's not wrong either. It's just how that business is done. Maybe it's distant past when football clubs were run by grim characters who rarely smiled and sat there in stands on sheepskin coat ready to swing the axe after poor result or two. These new people will keep on smiling and stab you in the back. And that's why it's possible that Bellamy is forced out just like happened with Dunne (although I think that was right move at the time).

While I understand that this is how football is evolving and it's part of our journey to top, it still doesn't mean I have to like these people. I personally come from football family and generations of men who loved the game. Hell, my grandfather once took part in setting up a small football club in 40's. So despite the fact that I UNDERSTAND that these people might be needed in top football club, I can't help but feel that they are slightly repulsive. Now why is that wrong?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

nothing wrong with your opinion, but you'd have to admit it's closer to constant slagging off than it is to an old-timer dreaming of the old-school daze of "football men" running football clubs.

Look, part of my job entails selling for a living at some level, and we all ultimately sell ourselves whether we want to admit what that means or not. I can tell you that i cannot sell something i don't believe in, and i have the same sense of Cook. He believes in City and what we can accomplish and he's respectful of fans, and the history and our values. i think you should be more sensitive to the fact that plenty of people have their daggers out for him, because if he steps on his dick it lessens our chances of success, and that's bad for City. The pundits, and media want to see an epic fail by City like no other story this season. Honestly, if City fail to make the top 4 or really run into chemistry issues it will be a godsend for media outlets and pundits alike. Why feed into that garbage by slagging off a chairman who clearly is busting his fucking ass to find success with us? Makes no sense to me dude. I know that might sound like "get in line with the program" but...at some level...get in line with the fuclin program brother! ;)

Ya dig?

cheers

I dig yo, dawg.

Maybe the difference is that I don't get worked up about negative media attention as much as many people. It's all gutter journalism anyway and if I don't trust anything mirror or s*n write about politics or world in general I sure as hell don't care about their populistic opinions about football.

I personally didn't like it when we were everyone's pet when we were shite and therefore negative attention only means we are moving forward.

We're moving forward and becoming successful, great, but I can't attribute any thanks to Cook. Harsh, perhaps. Unreasonable, probably. I don't care. I just despise him and everything his smartly dressed ilk are made of.

Now, now, Colin. You know only one opinion is allowed on this subject.

ill go out on a limb and guess that's directed at me.

ill have a rational conversation, but when it's "he's a vulture" i just dont get the point of that.

Do you have an opinion to converse about?

thanks
