What is his particular roll of dishonour?
I lose track these days, and just work on the basis that they have all fucked us over at some point

Come on, give me a clue. Why should I be bothered about a Sunderland player being sent off?

Is is a shit ref, plenty of cards when we played Sunderland last season he sent a player off and elephant man got hit by an FA charge. This man makes lots of errors, the photo was just the first pic. I found.

maybe there was plenty of cards because elephant man is a cunt and sunderland are dirty bastards? i can't remember him (marriner), to me that usually says a ref isn't that bad.

Mariner was born in Birmingham and lives about 8 miles away from Villa's ground. His last game in charge of us was the 2-0 loss at home to Everton and prior to that, the 4-3 win against Sunderland. Last 2 for Spurs have been 2 losses for them against Leeds and the Scum, 3-1 on each occassion
Interesting point: In the last 5 seasons, he's not once presided over an Aston Villa game, so in my humble opinion, let's hope that he doesn't hold a grudge and blame us for the O'Neill saga.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Not always true. Who was the ref who sent tranaldo off in the home derby a few years back. He wasn't a cunt, at least not that day.

Every time I click one of these threads I dread that its him. Bolton last season was absolutely shithouse officiating.
