I'm sorry to say I've been out of the mix in New York for a while. The last time I looked he was an average England midfielder who then went and failed into a couple of management jobs....so have I missed something along the way ?

The guy is utterly clueless when it comes to management as proved in every job he has ever done, but my understanding is that he was brought in along the same lines as Wilkins at Chelsea, basically because he speeka da gaffas lingo.
To my mind there can't possibly have been a footballing reason why he was brough in, but I dont get the hatred at this stage. Even Hughes got till the season started to goto ratshit before getting this level of abuse.

Cunt/Platty....Platty/Cunt....
I'll meet you half way... 'Plunty'.
Don't we normally use the person's middle name as a term of endearment?
I think I will call him Andrew.

Well I dont want to go against the grain too much, and I hate the guy more than most.
But he seems very active in this coaching business when you watch them, much more than the seemingly passive and shy Kidd. History is littered with coaches who were hopeless managers but could coach a bit - like Kidd himself who is a number 2 but couldn't do the number 1 bit.
It's just possible, only just at this stage, that Mancini knows what he is doing with Kidd, Pratt and Lombardo!

You don't?...Well he slagged city off at every given moment.
That's why he's fucking hated.

I hardly ever watch football on telly to be fair, and dont read the daily papers. If I do see a city game on tv and he is punditing, it is an away game and am in the pub so cant really hear him / pay attention to what he has to say.
However, I am aware that he is an ex-munich, and a particularly ugly cunt, which is good enough for me.
