Now that Chelsea's overated shambles have been brought off.
Both a sign of our progress and of things to come.

But will any/all play on Saturday at WHL?

In all honesty the only one I am bothered about getting in the side is Hart as I feel AJ is still growing (very quickly) into the role.
At the moment we have more experienced options for AJ's positions, however AJ can come off the bench and widen our play should we need it?

Don't disagree I just think Saturday is about players who will be fit, ready and available. Richards will play RB with Kolo and Kompany in the center. Kolarov I suspect will be ok for LB and Yaya has had enough game time to get the nod alongside Barry and maybe Dejong as he looked in decent shape. AJ on the right and Ade upfront with....Jo
Well ok maybe not Jo depends on what shape Tevez is in :)
Boateng will be eased in as will Silva who is not fit anyway. Bellamy should be in but with all this hoohaa who the hell knows.

I dont think AJ will play and I think Barry will only start if Milner doesnt sign in time.

me either wrt AJ. it's De Jong and Barry -- MAYBE Milner. Midfield four imho is YYT, De Jong, Barry (Milner), Silva.
i think Barry is a safer bet tho...Milner will have had all of 1 training session most likely...i can't see Mancini being that risky away from home to throw him out there but it would say a lot if he did.
cheers

....and of course as soon as we got down to zero scum players we cut lose and scored 2 and should have scored more....
I am not saying that the granny shagging twat is not a good player but we do seem to go too far in building our formation around him

We had TWENTY players away on senior international duty over the last two days, playing for:
England, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Ivory Coast, Wales, Paraguay, Serbia, Slovakia, Belgium, Republic of Ireland.....
We could/should have had more really when you consider that Lescott didn't get the nod for England (and he couldn't have done much worse than our centre halves last night....also Shauny wasn't picked, Adebayor and Caicedo not in action.
I remember when I was getting excited about Willo Flood and Stevie getting the odd call-up for the Republic and Dickov getting back in the Scotland team......crazy times

This can't be right, I thought we were the cause of everything that is wrong with English football and to blame for everything that ever goes wrong.
If England now form a decent young side with some of our players playing then what will the papers say about us, am sure we can still be slated for something!!!
