Awful work rate and concentration, if we can't get the basics right then there's little hope for us. ,icah has been the worst of the lot but Bale is the sort of player that Zabba usually struggles against

the formation is so defensive ... that is really disappointing. we are inviting them into us the whole time.

midfield : silva, swp, dejong, barry, toure ... seems silva nad swp are switching wings, but they are playing so deep ... it's almost like we're playing a 4-6-0. there is no forward outlet. bobby needs to change things up, it's really not working. spurs are full of confidence and if not for hart they would be 5 goals up. You could take a pick out of those saves by hart and it could be save of the year.

A first half typical of a team which hasn't been together that long.

It's gonna take a few weeks before we see the real city.

Lets hope we can survive this and get a draw.

Yeah, Mario is the kind of player as well who could fashion something from nothing. Like hit in a 30 yard screamer when we've been under the kosh for a while.

Ah well, hart seems to enjoy this, to say at least. absolutely brilliant...

We lose the ball to often, bad passes and passive play. Get that sorted and joe seems willing to sort the rest.
Also i'm a bit concerned about richards vs bale.. got to get that one going. AJ would be a good addition i reckon.

More keep-ball (without doing a blunder pass all the time, erhm, de jong), less trying to outrun lennon please.

That right side always looked dodgy against Bale and so it showed - Zab on defo and AJ last 30 - Ade will prolly come on for Silva last 20
Missing Bellers but I imagine Milner is the natural replacement

Agree. Apart from the fact I won't be embarrassed, I will be just fucking happy. If we keep playing like this it is ridiculous if we get anything from this but right now I don't give a fuck if we only get something out of this.

Crrrrracking first half. Micah is being torn a new one, but I feel we are holding them thanks to Joey. Modric is class as is Bale and the left back. We look like a team that needs time to come together. Be pTient lads, shore up the right hand side and we just may Nick something.

I'm very disappointed with Mancini so far. Never in a million years would I ever play a very narrow 4-3-3 against Spurs who play a very wide 4-4-2 wth Bale and Lennon hugging the touchline. We are getting murdered down the wings and need to change the formation in the second half.

Go with an equal 4-4-2 or if even 4-5-1. Adebayor needs to get on to give us a target man up front. Plus he has scored 6 goals in the last 8 games against spurs.
