Commentator has just said that Rapid Vienna got through in the Austrian Cup after being drawn against their reserve side. Brilliant!!

same team that kicked Villa out last season at the same point in the comp. MON played an understrength side if i remember.

I thought he might be a decent free transfer until I saw him in the World Cup. Ancelotti basically said he's swapped him for Benayoun because he's thick. He looks half fit as well to me. He looks to me like he's got a long way to go before he's someone I'd want to see in our team anyway. I actually wish he was playing against us because I think he would have weakened them defensively.

Villa have the away goal. Dont reckon they will field a week team again like tonight.



looks like Liverpool have got the most work to do, by the sounds of it they had chances but the Turkish team also had some and didnt lie down at Anfield. Turkey is always a tricky place to go, they look vunerable to me.
