Crossan, t'old boy. To a degree I can understand where you are coming from. I hated it when Chelsea went out and spent crazy money to go on and win stuff I didn't feel comfortable with it and said at the time I wouldn't want City doing that. However. What do you do??, we cannot control the in's and out's of the club or the money being spent, and I am not going to lose my love of City because of it. In fact I am more than chuffed that we might start to win things and the only way of doing that is by building a team of quality players and to do that costs, probably more for City now cause teams like to think they can hold us to ransom for players.

Is it going to suck the soul from the club we love??. NO!!. WE ARE THE SOUL OF THE CLUB, YOU, ME ALL OF US FANS. We are the ones that keep that soul in place. Yes history is something we cannot change and wouldn't want to but nor is the future.

Be good Crossan and enjoy the ride.

Rural x

Oh and remember the press love to hate somebody and that somebody at the moment is us. That will pass just as it did Chelsea.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Clearly Mickey Thomas was using you as his 'most City fans I know' last week. See what you've done?

the soul of any club is in their fanbase...unless some of you old, delusional cunts are jumping OFF the bandwagon now that it's actually in 2nd gear and about to leave the station then i think it will be fine. Once someone in a sky blue shirt is on TV and has a piece of silverware in their hands, and blues everywhere have a tear in their eye about all the memories and the path it took to get there, then all the perceived garbage about the soul of the club won't matter one bit.

good times.

Don't give the media another reason to slate City by letting them think the fans aren't happy with something any reasonable person would call amazing, fantastical, unbelievable progress. it's less than 1% of fans that would share Crossan's view from my conversations with City fans all over the world.

cheers
