I was in awe of how good he was last night. Looks most threatening when he gets the ball and runs at the defence. But hes a Defencive Midfielder remember so as someone said before, lets not blow his cover.

We decided to charter a mcf.net jet as there were absolutely no cameras at the game.

Looks the real deal doesn't he but I noticed he is still holding back on the finisher part of his game to keep his cover in tact. They really were 2 guilt edged chances he missed.

Too many midfielders get by on being to do one of the following: passing, shooting or tackling. Toure can do them all and more.

He can also play centre-half at the top level too. A brilliant footballer.

He is still not as good as Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick though ;)

I heard Henry Winter on the radio last night that Yaya was "bulldozed by Modric against Tottenham". Jeebus

Anyone else excited to see Yaya push Gerrard around the pitch? That doesnt even mention Milner will be playing too.

Amen to that! Can't wait for the rag press to have to praise us. They will hate it.

He can't be that good, the "experts" on talksport hadn't even heard of him.......Wankers!

Awesome player, think he'll go very close to winning our player of the season. Seen a lot of him and the first time I watched him he reminded me of an in his pomp Vieira, which is some compliment. Delighted we have him.

Some good stats on mcfc.co.uk. Toure made the most passes by far (92) and completed 82.
Interestingly De Jong made 67 passes and completed all of them! That is some going over 90 minutes. Think these two are going to be immense together with Nigel doing the scrapping and just giving it to Yaya.

The real deal, like shawzy said.

This is exactly what he is, he has everything. Can't wait to see him in games like everton and stoke, reckon he will give us the stregth we lacked against them last year and more than even balotelli if he scores 20+ will help us get wins because last year we lost so many points to shit teams just by getting bullied in midfield.

exactly.. Yaya always making himself available, which stems from his Barca training. Barca make it look easy to keep possession but if you watch there is always someone shadowing and making sure they are available to pass to. it works.
