I don't think it'll be the drab 0-0 it was last season. Both of youse have got everything to play for, especially as you're 5 points behind Chelsea already.
Really tough opening for both teams.

Not the line up I would havegone with at home. Shame about Mario but best to protect him so early on in season. Far too defensive line up and think we will take an onslaught and try push them on the break. Hey ho pub here I go.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Pity Super-Mario isn't fit: I was looking forward to seeing him on his home debut.
Interesting that Silva isn't starting; presumably he'll be given at least 20 minutes.
Hopefully Lescott will get back up to the level he was at prior to his final appearances of last season
(and maybe make a real challenge for the left-back berth)

Ug. Should see plenty of goals at half time though.
There's only one Antoine!

I would of preferred Vieira to Tevez for a more balanced team.

Milner: "I'd like to play in the middle of the park."
Mancini: "Get out there on the wing son."

The fuck? Milner on the wing? NDJ, Yaya AND Barry again? Tevez on his own? Is there some masterplan behind this I don't 'get'?

It fucking stinks mate..Milners best role is in midfield but Mancini thinks otherwise.
ANOTHER FUCXKING DEFENSIVE SET UP.

hey never mind, our team of "mercenaries" need time. We should aspire to have players like Mascherano, who love their club and are loyal to the end.
Looks like Mancini is looking not to lose. Fair enough, if the players are still undercooked would it make sense to attack Liverpool? It all depends on your philosophy. We'll get slagged off no matter what so now I'd settle for a stinky 1-0 or a draw and good display.

Believe, Mancini knows what he's doing.

It depends on how you look at that midfield, Liverpool fans will look at and think that midfield is one strong looking midfield city have put out.Mancini obviously looking to out muscle them and use Johnson and Milner to drive forward. If Tevez manages to stay upfront and provide a focal point it could work very well.If he starts drifting back and invading other players space it could become very frustrating.Hope Mancini has had a word with him about it

That's what worries me, Tevez seems to always try to come back to recieve the ball when we're going forward

I think we have the players to scare the fuck out of any team and we end up going for a defensive line up....that just doesnt make sense to me.

I'm not quite as upset as some of you. We've created enough chances in our last 135 minutes of football, I could honestly see us getting a few goals tonight.
