If this was United v Liverpool, would we still be talking about the weekends goals, 45 minutes into the 'build-up'?

Believe, Mancini knows what he's doing.

That's what worries me, Tevez seems to always try to come back to recieve the ball when we're going forward

You're totally convinced, yeah?

We created fuck all against Spurs apart from a deflected Tevez effort that went over the bar.

Im convinced Mancini knows what he's doing, im not convinced about Tevez's movement.

Well, I said our last 135. That tosses out the first 45 minutes against Spurs, which I totally admit were awful. In that second half though, SWP was put in on goal, and we had that Tevez chance as well. The point is, we create enough chances to win, just have to finish them. The goals will come.

Shouldn't Mancini factor that in to his set up? Tevez has a certain style of play, his movement being one of his main strengths. Playing him alone up top is just wrong given the type of player that he is.

Not a lot happened in Romania before Super Mario came on either.

Milner for Barry and SWP playing would've felt much more proactive. Hope Ade or Silva make it on for one of our four central midfielders before the 80th minute.

Scouse going 4-4-2? Anything can happen with Gerard and Torres on the pitch.

I just cant see us winning this, but if we can keep it 0-0 and Mancini puts the correct team out for the 2nd half, we might have a chance

You're talking in riddles. You've just said that you believe Mancini knows what he's doing, five minutes later he's "stupid".

Cheers, but myp2p is always the place I check first. I just wasn't in the mood of trawling through all the links there to find one that showed the studio talk (the ones I've tried so far don't).

Not having a pop mate - if we win he'll be validated - but playing 3 holding midfielders and Tevez up top against the 7th best side in the league does seem a little precious and myopic. Especially at home.
