Caught the last 15 mins of this as our game petered out, what an end to a game.

Curtis Davis tried to smash the ball out for a throw in off the Vienna player and just put it straight out for a Vienna corner, which they then scored off.

Other highlights include Heskey missing from 6 yards out.

Villa 2 - Rapid Vienna 3 (3-4 on agg)

Villa missed a pen too. And Agbonlahor got injured. Not a good night for Villa then!

How come Ireland was registered in time to play and Milner wasn't?

Villa needed a new manager straight after O'neil left.

Don't know about laughing at them, they're a fucking disgrace. Second year on the trot that they've completely disrespected the competition by fielding a gash side last week (not seen tonights).

To be fair a score draw away wasn't a bad result and they fielded a strongish side tonight...they just fucking choked.

Far worse was two years ago when they slogged through Intertoto and the group stages only to put out a reserve side in Russia. The Europa gods have not smiled on them since.

I thought you had to be registered before the 1st leg of a euro tie. "Villa play unregistered player, banned for 3 seasons" scandal.

Saw the first leg and I thought thought Rapid Vienna were an extremely poor side. Villa have become worse.

Villa's rock solid defence appears to have gone to mush since Ireland joined / Milner left. I can see Sunderland and Fulham finishing above them this season.
