It's Emile Heskey. He was photographed by Matty Upson, sucking Capello's dick.

If it ever went to court no doubt he would get the charges dropped.

Who bloody cares. As long as it isn't illegal, or dodgy money wise - why bother.

Physically fit young man shag women.

Thank God the NOTW didn't see what I got up to at Mancester Poly in the early 70s. I despair!!!

They did. Some footballer is using an extremely powerful legal instrument (with draconian punishments) that subverts free speech and is so dangerous to basic freedom that whether it should exist at all is highly dubious and the regular abuse of which could (...already have. Remember, it's a secret) completely undermine the ability of the press to investigate and/or report on issues of significant importance.

A group of wealthy and powerful individuals are trying to abuse this law to create a system where regular censorship (by them) of news is commonplace. The more often super-injunctions happen the more dangerous they become, that's why it's important that people who try to use them to deceive the public for selfish reasons face the full brunt of the media spotlight.

It's not that I have any real interest in the sordid details of a footballer's private life, I don't think his lawyers should be permitted to threaten people with jail for discussing it, especially not if the allegations are true and he's abusing the legal system to intimidate people (and the media).

Here's me thinking you were also seriously questioning Lev's seventies throwback "in yer dreams" comment!

You are quite correct though, press freedom is important

Its one of City's England players people on here certainly will care. Who can forget the escapades of Gary Flitcroft, who whilst not an City player when the news broke, did provide some surprise.

If that player in question has got an injunction then that truly is shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted.

i beg to differ. Any hack that writes stories about footballers private lives want shooting. the judges are just as bad foir ruling "it`s in the public interest". Fucking how is it? Why does it interest anyone(apart from colleen) who rooney shags behind her back? It gives people like mike parry ian mcgarry justification for their poor reporting. Journalism in these isles has sunk to "bella" and "heat" standards and is nothing more than news for nosey old fish wives. If a City player was hanging out of the back of michael barrymore on friday and scored a hat trick on saturday so what. If it made him play poorly I would expect the club to fine himn heavily. That doesn`t mean Mrs Clarke in Brighton needs to know about it.

No but if he was hanging out of the back of Michael Barrymore & Rooney was also bumming Barrymore & the two were fighting about it in the dressing room at around about the same time England were playing like shit in the World Cup & Capello was still picking them, people would want to know about it. We don't know what the story is, so can't comment either way.
