Seriously.
How the hell will he survive in Italy?
They have the worlds most racist supporters and there defending against front men is exemplary.
He will fair worse out there then he did here.
And i always said he is very over rated as when at Real Madrid, he was never used the full 90 mins, always a sub.
He's one of them enigma players.
Good ridence.
But remember when we signed him???
Omg, now that was what it was all about.

Shame in many ways but he wanted out and Mancini was never going to let Robbie anywhere near the squad so best for all concerned. The fact we actually got some decent money for him and avoided paying out a few mill in 'loyalty payments' - cue snickering from the back - is bit of a result and much better than I expected.

If 22 million quid is true then we have done well.

Unfullfilled potential sums it up for me.

too bad it didn't work out in the end, but the signing did what it was supposed to from a statement perspective, so i'd do it again if given the opportunity.

We threw some random darts on that day and thought one of them had hit the bullseye. Unfortunately it had actually landed in single one.
Fuck off Robinho! No good wishes from me, AC Milan and him seems the perfect match.

I want to go on record as saying i find that attitude shitty. He wasn't the worst player to pull on a sky blue shirt and he might not have seemed arsed but it was his style and not his work ethic that ultimately doomed him. He knew he couldn't hack it in this league which is why he's been running from it for over a year. Ill enjoy the couple moments of bliss where he made me really really proud of the team and his skill.

Quite the opposite of Elano IMHO if we are going to compare allegedly lasy Brasilians.

Cheers

It's just the way I see it doomy, which is just as valid as the way you see it.
And Elano was a grafter compared to Robinho.

I agree, I loved Elano despite his attitude at times. If there was a straight choice in having one of them back, I'd take Elano without a doubt.

I would as well. Robinhos style and approach were never going to cut it but with more work and focus and dedication elano could have had a very solid career in the top flight in England. Elanos skill translated way better to the premier league and for that ill always harbor more resentment towards him than Robson.

Make sense?

I think they did well on the deal, we were just expecting to get done worse. But who knows, these figures are rumours.

We played some really good football with him on the pitch.

Personally, I always thought the writing was on the wall the day his chum Elano left. He was a brilliantly technical player but too soft. In the prem you need to be hard first skilful second which is why for me the England team will never win fuck all.

Not sad to see him go ... but I predict he will do really well for milan. Ronaldhino makes everyone around him better and robi will be no different. He's another brazilian bum chum too, they'll be great friends. More likely than not will ruin ronaldhino's revival come to think of it.

I'm a pretty big fan of ronaldhino right now actually ... hope he can resist robi's temptations.

Oh well, ta ra Robbie, shame you turned out to be a bit of a twat and couldn't keep up that form you showed when you started.

Still, I will never forget the day you signed, along with Dicky scoring and Weaver saving that final penalty one of my greatest ever City moments. I think the £10M loss is worth the statement of intent we made by buying him.

I reckon in about 8-12 months we will read new comments from Robinho on how he wants to go back to Brazil to become the best player in the world. :)

Thanks for the positive memories Robbie... fuck you for the rest.
