Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Hello
My dad's 60th is coming up and as a suprise I want to take him and a few of his mates to Blackpool away.
He has been a city fan all his life, used to travel home an away (european games inc) before starting family. He has been in the City Centenary Book and everything titled "being a blue".
Anyways I would like as many tickets as possible but minimum would be 2 for me and my dad. Ideally 5 or more so we can suprise him with a few friends. Name your price.
Thanks

Cheers, I have done now.
How do the loyalty points work? My dad has had a season ticket holder for about 40 years an me for about 15 years.
Does this mean we could get tickets for it or have we not been to enough away games?

You can check your loyalty points online when you log into the official site. They haven't announced yet when tickets will be on sale. I don't know exactly how the loyalty points started with long standing fans, but it's something like 500 points a seaasoncard. That would easily put you both very high up on the list if you still have seasoncards.

Sweet, we do still have them... never plan on giving them up.
Can you usually get additional tickets or is it 1 ticket per seasoncard?
Only I want to try and get his mates to come along as well. I have had a very kind offer from someone on here already so i've got a back up plan if needed.

I'm sure it's only one ticket per season ticket for prem games.

The loyalty points criteria for this game will start very high, possibly at 6000 and tickets will be like gold dust i'm afraid.

So with my dad having 40 years an me 15 years of seasoncards, would we not be top of the pile?

Depends on how many away games you have been to and cup games. You only get 190 points per season for renewing your season card so without the extra games it will be hard to rack up the points.

Id say you and your dad would be well in the criteria for tickets, but not sure how you would get the rest of his mates a ticket

Log in to your purchase history here
https://www.mcfc.talent-sport.co.uk/Pag ... quiry.aspxYou can find out exactly how many points you have then you will have a rough idea on getting tickets but this game is going to be highly sought after and i wouldnt be surprised if the criteria doesn't fall below 4000 points.

I'd definitely contact the club and your local supporters club. Even if you can get the tickets other ways, they can open certain doors like getting on the pitch, meeting the players etc.

Logged in. Despite me having a season ticket for about 15 years I have zero loyalty points.
Guess I'm not loyal enough.

Get onto the club tomorrow if you've had a season ticket for 15 years you should have some sort of points.

Sounds like there is a problem with the system, it has happened to me before but if you log out and then log in again it should come right. Click purchase history on the left hand side and it will show all the games that gave you loyalty points.

Ah cheers Spiv, still only got 3680. Bit of a joke that. I pride myself on renewing every year since I was 10.

Didn't you look after Richards? Can't he give you his player tickets?

I could ask but they would prob be exec seats. That's not how you should watch football, especially an away at Blackpool.
Also, I want to get his mates to come as well, ideally about 5 of us, so couldn't get that many even off him.
