Manchester City avenged last week's league cup defeat to Leicester City, with a 2-1 away win in the league fixture, which keeps them top of the Northern Division. Midway through the first half, Lindsay Savage converted a penalty, beating Leanne Hall, after Lauren Impey was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.

The second half saw Savage add her second with a great header on 75 minutes, while Krystal Johnson and Becky Grocott both had efforts disallowed. Andrea Worrall was called upon to make some superb saves but Maz Gauntlett gave the Foxes a lifeline when she headed home a Natalie Reay free-kick. Further efforts by Gauntlett were denied by Worrall.

Can you please render that, times it by 2 but make the second image slightly faded, put it on a flashy background, scrawl your username and "MCFC" all over it, border, upload it then stick it in the graphics thread on OT for me?

Don't forgot to make 10 copies which all have subtle, trivial differences because we really want to see those too

LookMum rails against self-expression. News at 10.

what're one man's wank GIMPd images are another's pride and joy of supporting City, so to each their own. Who am i to judge a homemade graphic on an internets forum. Some of these people are prollee so surprised they can even do that and who am i to detract from their excitement?

Another victor today in the league cup comp which has been changed into a league style comp. We won 3-2 at Derby.

There 2nd goal was an appauling decsion by the ref and his cunty liseman who think it's within the laws of the game for the forward to bundle the keeper into the back of the next when she's just about to catch it. Anway I exchanged a few unsavory words at the pair.....glad my Mum wasn't watching.

Big derby game for us next week at home so come along if your free. It's a 2PM KO. £2 for adults U16 are free!

two to five year jail sentence if you are sitting in bushes with binoculars!

Congratulations Andie! Is there already talk of the title in the dressing room?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

We would like to think we have a chance but much like the men's teams we fook up when we shouldn't. On paper we are defo have one of the better teams within the league. We do need to sign a centre back though and quickly.

Kitbag dropped all our kits off, training gear and tracksuits at COMs several weeks ago but forgot to write City Ladies on the box so it got given out to one of the lads teams. We have since been waiting for kit which we got last week but there was no numbers on the shirts which was being done over the weekend hence us all just wearing socks and shorts. Should be all sorted for the big game on Sunday.

Anyway City Ladies now have an offical Manchester City Ladies FC facebook page so please become a fan.

No kit should mean NAKED Man City Ladies team....then I would'nt need the binos and bush.
Get it sorted Andie....Think of the increased attendances girl.

I agree with John. Like an old fashioned P.E. teacher, no kit, you participate in your underwear. No excuses. ;0)

Sister of fu, do you have a match on the week between November 8 to Nov 15th?

There should be a fixture list for you too in OS...

hmmmm nice one Sepp

Football's most senior administrator attracted the wrath of the women's game last night by suggesting female players wear tighter shorts to promote "a more female aesthetic".
Sepp Blatter, the president of the world governing body Fifa, said women should have skimpier kit to increase the popularity of the game. "Let the women play in more feminine clothes like they do in volleyball," he said.

"They could, for example, have tighter shorts. Female players are pretty, if you excuse me for saying so, and they already have some different rules to men - such as playing with a lighter ball. That decision was taken to create a more female aesthetic, so why not do it in fashion?"
