Richards can get into such tasty positions sometimes, and cannot cross or dribble the ball to save his life. it's quite astonishing even though i know it's true, everytime he touches the ball i have high hopes. i dunno why i'm so stubborn.

cheers

When he came in he had the potential to be a great player but since being centre back (IMO his only position) in Sven's campaign for a young player has made no improvement in any part of his game. For all the games he has played he still makes the same mistakes, it's frustrating for everyone!

What I can't get my head around is that we have both Jo and RSC on the bench. With this line up, we are more or less forced to pass our way over the goal line. There is no presence in the 16 yard area for the Wigan defence to worry about at all, making our game very static (let's face it, what need is there to swing crosses in, when we don't have anyone on the other end of it (over 5'2)).

Exactly...i'd leave NDJ on the bench and put RSC up front, and reshuffle the midfield if we're going to play like this. There's nothing doing...it's a snoozer. I'm just waiting for Zabs or Richards to get sent off...should happen before the 60 minute mark i'm guessing.

So, are you saying the tactics are wrong Nooly?

sorry, i stand corrected...perhaps it's NDJ whom we'll see sent off the rugby pitch instead.

cheers
