How poor were Wigan, worst performance I've seen from a PL club in a long time. You could argue we made them poor, of course

Or a top notch entertainment unit that scores loads of goals, consides loads and doesn't win a bean. I know which one I would prefer.
Jose won the league for Chelsea on two occasions with a team that grafted and worked for one another, they were not flash but got the job done. Do you think the Chelsea fans moaned when they won league twice on the bounce??
i don't mind a lack of flash if we win confidently. Looks like we'll do that today maybe, but the first 38 minutes or so didn't have me convinced. I should keep the faith, huh?
regardless, we looked like we couldn't buy three points against Sunderland and Blackburn, don't you think? I want the points, end of. I don't care about style vs points, but if the style isn't getting the points at least Mancini needs to show me he's going for it. Know what i mean?
cheers
Mike we battered both them teams and on any other day we would have been 3 or 4 up. Sometimes the ball just don't go your way. People go into panic mode when they don't need to IMO, we have around 8 players out injured and are still doing ok. We sit nicely in 4th at the moment with what people have descibed as a shaky start!
We have stopped conceding goals and actually look pretty solid. This team will only get better as time goes on IMO. I'm happy with our start to the season, our plays not as fluent as I have seen us in the past but in the past we had a soft underbelly. Patients is key, I'm sure we will be playing like Brazil in no time....:-)
thanks for the level set Ms Woz. When will we get married so that i can wash your underpants, sir? I'm definitely the bitch of this relationship...without a shadow of a doubt.
Good look tomorrow with the footy...don't let all the hype from the Programme get to your head...tho i should have gotten it autographed probably.
cheers

Good solid performance. Defence never looked under any kind of threat, which for an away game is excellent.
Of course I'd like to see us more fluent in attack but that will come - aside from a penalty and a total cock-up we still haven't conceded a goal this season.

Very poor but we made them look bad today...A very rigid stubborn city performance..Not pretty at times but we controlled the game from start to fin.

Well done City. Looking forward to enjoy the entertainment with the addition of Mario and the 2 designed Fbs.

some very nice football there, we controlled the game and place nice back to front. I would have like to seen more shots and chances but I know its down to all of the injuries. Though it feels nice to know once they starting coming back into the team chances will increase and more importantly so will the entertaining footy(just like brazil). GO CITY!!

We were looking pretty good & really starting to get our attacking game together at one point there but unfortunately had to rest players & do our bit for the Jo rehabilitation charity just as it was looking like we were starting to gel.
We start to look qualty & capable of scoring when the midfield get forward but fairly hopeless & mid table when they don't.

they were poor yes, "worst performance I've seen from a PL club in a long time" nah.We have played worse than that before. Surely as a city fan you should be taking positives rather than implying we won as they were shit

Wigan usually cause teams a lot more problems win or lose. We were very good at stopping them when we lost the ball.

Yeah, I was scratching my head on that one !! Not that I mind more attacking football, but would've liked to see Santa given a run instead of Jo.
Job well done. 2 away wins in 4 days !!
Up to 4th, thank you very much.
Now bring on Chelsea.

It was not my intention to imply that we won because they were shit, I was just baffled by the number of times they lost posession right in front of or even sometimes inside, their own box.
That was the first thing on my mind after the game, but now I'm back to being a real City fan, celebrating today's 3 easy points and fourth spot. A very aggressive, professional away performance
