I thought Vinny, Barry and Zab were outstanding... But NDJ edges it for me.

All 11 were v good, if pressed to pick one I would go for Vinny.

Thought Silva was excellent, very clever player & made some excellent runs.

I'm probably in the extreme minority here but I thought Mad Zabba was outstanding. There were many good performances from team mates but I thought he did an excellent job at left back, not his natural position, and he had some great runs down the left wing in both halves. Well in that man

I've gone for young Dedrick!. I thought the guy looked so nervous at first and as the game went on seemed to take it in his stride. Maybe I am wrong for voting him as he maybe wasn't as solid as Komps or as good getting forward as Zab but he did a job and did it well.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I think Nige just edged it past Kompany. Very hard decision today.

I wish we played like that every week.

Never been a massive fan of him if I'm honest, but today NDJ was untouchable

As good as Kolo and VK were, Nigel still wins it by a country mile for me.

thought barry and de jong were brilliant, as was Vince. Pleased with silva's battling and thought Boyata did really well out of position. However, vote went to Zab for being our best left back (kolarov excepted), getting forward & only having the one mad moment.

i knew substance would win out over style for you eventually. ;)

Against teams that play football, we're fantastic...as is NDJ. It's against the cloggers, and route one specialists of the world which we'll continue to struggle. We're built for CL, but unfortunately need to learn to win every week in the Prem first. We'll get there. Today it was NDJ for me as well...Komps, Kolo, Silva, fuck...pretty much could make a list. Strangely enough i haven't even mentioned Tevez whose moment of brilliance got us the points.

cheers

Just watched a full replay of the game and isn't it great when basically all the players play well and it's difficult to choose MotM. No doubt the names mentioned regularly on here deserve their nominations but I would go for Kolo. Excellent performance and for me he made 2 or 3 massively important challenges and also looked after Dedryk pretty well too.

Doug, do they have a time machine at Carrington that no one knows about and have they popped in it and taken the Kolo Toure from Arsenal of 2004?? Such a change in the lad from the one we saw last year.

He is playing really well isn't he. Benefitting a lot from Vinnie ,Nigel and I think Barry all playing extremely well at the same time plus the biggest factor of all that the team are playing quite cautious controlled football with better players. It all helps.

Hart- one blip with him and toure
Boyate- Dogs bolloxs
Toure- Weak in the air especially- again
Kompany- Owns a bulldozer
Zabeleta- Heart n Soul makes up for hes clangers
Sillva- good n flashes- has to grow a pair soon tho
Barry- set the pace in tackling
De Jong- nevr rated him that much but he was IMMENSE
Milner- was totally bossed by ivanovic but kept tryin
Tevez- covers so much ground he leaves no room for the other lads
Other Toure- still way off pace but still a good shift

JOhnson- did nuthin when came on
Ade- didn exactly bust a bollox
Ref: never gave one 50-50 to us

De Jong and Kolo Toure were both 9/10 performances but for me i'd agree with sponsors' choice of Vincent Kompany.
