I thought Kolo was brilliant on Saturday.
I was his biggest hater last season and wanted him out of the club. I don't know whether it's because he's got his brother here or he doesn't have the responsibilty of being captain anymore but this season he's been really really good.
I counted at least 3 sliding tackles he did as the last man on Saturday that were excellent.

I think the captaincy weighed him down to be honest, he showed flashes of how good he could be last season but the consistency wasn't there - he is an absolute rock so far this season (and working so well with Vince)

I didn't think he was as bad as some people had made out. We had a changing team, changing coaches, changing systems, changing priorities and there was a period of adjustment for our defence especially. It wasn't easy for someone who'd been in Arsenal for so long and wasn't in particularly good form or feeling particularly confident when he left.

When I watched the game again, I thought he played even better than my first impression.

His anticipation of Boyata's under-hit header to Joe was almost supernatural.
