Excatly. Whats the point in having a squad if we aren't going to play the squad players in games like this? There are 6 games in the group, all are winnable and we need 10 points. We cannot play our best 11 every week otherwise we will be fucked by Feb and a whole season ruined.

Im all for using the squad, but Vieria is a waste if a shirt for reasons described elsewhere.

Im sure you will agree.

Not at all, i think he does a decent job. I wouldn't play him in the top games but for 15-20 games he is better than anyone i can think of who will come in, do a job and be happy with that role.

True, i suppose if Mancini is sending him out there to make slack passes and late tackles then he is doing a job.

For a midfielder to make 84 successful passes out of 94 attempted and a success rate of 3 out of 3 tackles then yes he is doing a job. Maybe you are seeing him as a 34 year old taking the place of better players and using some of his few bad passes (that everyone makes) as a judgement that you can do better than him?

I dont like that we are relying on PV. I also see him as a waste of a place in the 25. However in his defence he has done ok so far.. but only ok. Now whether another less experienced squad player would make less mistakes is a difficult call.

Imo until some of the injured are back we cant keep using Barry and deJong in every game. I was quite disappointed when the team was announced v Juve and PV was in there. I doubt they would have gotten that goal if Nige had been patrolling. But then Nige would be a bit knacked for the game tomorrow.. so swings and roundabouts.

You had also felt we would forever regret to let go Ireland_the_lazy_twat_who_costed_City_theCLspot.

Just a thought to be honest, no harm intended, neither any will to force You to abuse me again on the same argument... :-)

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Ah yes Ireland. Those who swore against all the blinding evidence to the contrary that he was a world-beater and it was all Hughes/Mancini/Sven's fault are now very quiet. Maybe it it's O'Neil/MacDonald/Houllier's fault?

Not me boss, i wanted Ireland to be given a chance to get in the squad but once he was gone i was said straight away we should move on. Perhaps you should do your homework, in more way than one.. :)
