This has been poor, we may have created some chances but overall we look very slack.
Really need to start controling the game, its been void of the kind of the tempo you would expect from a home side.
Besides that Newcastle are very average

imho, pull Yaya he's having a stinker. Bring on AJ, push Milner to the centre, AJ and Silva on the wings. Tevez up front.

Need to go 4-4-2 in the second half, we should be fucking battering these.

Hmmmm we are actually 2nd best in a home game v Newcastle. Yes we have had 1 or 2 breaks and should have scored another but bearing in mind we were a tad fortunate to get the pen 1 goal is probably the best we should expect. We simply aren't in control of midfield which is where most of our players are.
Time for Mancini to work something out ot get hold of this game and win it.

At Newcastles last corner you could actaully hear every word Hart said to the defense. Never expierenced that at a city game ever before.

I thought I saw it on Thursday but today Yaya is definitely heavy footed. I wonder if he's comin down with something. The best suggestion I've heard is to pull him and put Milner in midfield with AJ coming on. (How about Silva and AJ put on the correct wings too?)

boateng his distribution is immense but his defence is looking dire. This is down to lack of match fitness IMHO. Yaya is tired simple i say take off yaya put milner in the middle and bring on AJ or SWP

Not a great half from the lads. We could so easily be out of sight already. I'm sweating over this. My money is holding the team back.

Up the tempo and get Silva on the ball more.

De Jong had a rest midweek. I can't understand why he hasn't let Yaya have one today?

Yaya has looked pretty dire, sluggish as you like. I'd happily move Milner inside and bring on Adam

Good post chief...

Mancini has got this wrong, tactically .

There can be no bones about that. We're at home to a team that like to play ball and man for man we are far better at that. Change it, or we will not win IMO.
