When is Kolorov back??

Postby Nick » Sun Oct 03, 2010 7:12 pm

Not heard anything. Think Lescott is too slow and clumsy at left back.

Also keep hearing mixed dates for ballotelli. Think were crying out for him and can't see us beating the rags with the first 11 we started with today. We need a centre forward playing.

The rags were absolute garbage yesterday mate so don't be worrying about them. Blackpool and then the gooners are what we're concentrating on right now.

Still think mancini will treat united like chelsea/ Barcelona and sit back when every blue knows (especially now more than ever) the way to beat the scum is to go AT THEM. And were not going to do that with tevez playing up front on his own whilst screaming for the ball in centre midfield.

I think you give the rag bastards too much respect mate. They have been lacking each time I've seen em this season. At Notlob and Mackems last two games, they were quite fortunate to get a draw. Same at Fulham. Liverpool are in crisis and we leathered em without being anywhere near top gear, and the rags struggled to beat em at the swamp.

This says he'll be training starting Monday, and wants to be available after the international break.

I want him back asap...even Bridge ffs....Lescott was dire..fucking dire and I would like to know the stats on his ball passing today or the stats for the amount of times he lost the ball..................and the fucking pen he nearly gave away.

Seriously..he played fuckign shit today and I dont want him back in the side till further notice !

Rant over.

lescott was playing with no confidence today , and at times it was like no one wanted to pass to him even when he was in space.

He passed 31 balls successfully and lost 7, so about 1 in 5 went astray, which is much better than milner who managed to lose around 1 in 3 (25 passed / 11 lost)

Think back to last season. A lot on here were giving Lescott grief but then, after a run of games, he was much better and the same people were bigging him up - make your fucking minds up !

Lescott looks like a centre back playing at left back. But he is solid, and I would rather have him there when 2 left backs (3 if you count Zaba) are injured than Garrido, Ball, Cunningham, Stephen Jordan etc etc etc. When Jolene was taken off at Sunderland the winger went past Gareth Barry like he wasn't there, leading to the cross for the winning penalty.

He was a tad expensive, but he's a good stand-in, even better at CB, and I'm not sure he's really match-fit yet. Not much point raging against him after a victory.

I thought the only terrible thing today from Lescott was that attempt at goal. His passing was no worse than 5 or 6 other players today.

Whoever plays against Blackpool needs to be awake to the long balls they play from left midfield over to the right wing. Carragher was turned inside out several times by that ball and they have players like Cambell who will be in the box expecting the cross. Liverpool gave them too much time all over the park. Made it look like a good game but Liverpool did what they ahve done all season, try their best to make the opposition look good.

I noticed this too. Every time lescott was in space down the wing and players saw him, hesitated and passed to someone else. I think hes a quality centre back but looks like an oaf at left back.
