Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Dont see why this has to be read negatively.. obviously the press are trying to give it that spin but it just basically means that they are getting to grips with the situation they all find themselves in. The biggest point to take out of this is that they were all pissed off about being level.. shows that they are both winners and not afraid to air their views. All good imo.

Roll on.

I think Tevez is unhappy more often than not but I think Tevez is trying his utmost to be as professional as possible whilst hes with us.We also have to realize that not every cunt who lives in Manchester is a happy person....millions at their disposal or not. Tevez is apart from his family and I know better than most about Latin mentality when it comes to roots and family ect.....it will be doing his nut in not being able to do all the things he used to do back in Argentina ect................He just seems to be one south american that cannot or wont get to grips with the English culture.

About the OP -there are direct quotes regarding this spat so I reckon it is more than likely true.

I think that the MuEN got to grips with the issue and probable cause of Tevez's disgruntlement.
Against chelsea, the miffield were on top form and supported Tevez well. On Sunday, the service given to tevez was very poor.
I think Tevez had good reason to say his piece about that. Tevez was the guy doing the hod carrying and laying the bricks.

My worry is not that stuff like this is happening but the fact that what happens in City's dressing room or around the players is being made public knowledge by someone who should keep his/her mouth shut.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

In my opinion, we have a rat "in"the dressing room. Whatever is said in there, even if there if fisticuffs, stays in there. A manager is there to Manage, the players to perform and thats how it needs to be.

I can't understand how prior to signing these players the club appears to have non disclosure agreements in place, yet as soon as someone doesn't like something they go running to the press.

My guess, on the basis that CT isn't great with his English (and has probably departed to Argentina to be with his family for a few days) is that this has been released to the press by his agent.

City, have to jump on this ASAP. We've heard of too many bust ups in recent times, even going back to Robinho leaving Tenerife, and the spotlight needs to be taken of the squad unless its for the right thing, and just let them do their thing.

We have a couple of problems on this issue me thinks.

1. Is our dressing room bugged, and IF why and by whom?
2. Do we have a rat in our own ranks? Who?
3. Linguaproblem- Who speaks the best and worst english in the squad? Is that little lingua expert that usually is seen on the left hand corner on varies interviews, especially when Tevez and Manc are interviewed, on the OS involved in anything mysterious?
4. Can we trust all journos to be profesional and honest and NOT attension seakers?
5. Is some dark force that are against us around?

If you watched the Sunday Supplement a couple of weeks ago, Journalists seem to think they have some god given right to make up bullshit stories. If they make something up, they then have a second story the following day to fill the paper "CT plays down Mancini Bust Up" or "No bust up with CT" scenario.

I think it's time to put pressure on the papers (especially). If any Journo is found to have made up a story, their organisation is banned from the ground/carrington with immediate effect.

Never heard the saying "some fell on stoney ground" or "they cast their bait upon the water" these are just minor incidents blown up by the press in the hope of catching someone to stir up a little trouble or build a rumour into a fact. I would be more worried about how they got the info about something that is reported to have happened at half time in the dressing room

I couldn't give a toss if they are falling out every other day with each other just so long as they get the team winning on a regular basis. Footballers are prissy little delicate things and are so egotistical it's unreal so it is to be expected that they start crying when things don't go their way. The manager is there to stamp his authority and Mancini should do this infront of the other players otherwise he will lose all respect from the other players. Stand up to the big names and everyone else will fall into line. Every single manager has had to deal with players like Tevez and if he continues to be a disruptive influence then he will have to go. No player in the world should dictate what goes on on the training ground and on match day.

If it happened how the fuck would some retarded journo in london know about it? Fucking bullshit. Tevez gets annoyed when stuff doesnt go his way but so does anyone who has any kind of passion for what there doing.

I think it would be understandable for him to be frustrated, twice in the first half Barry and Milner were through on goal and failed to find Tevez or the back of the net. Like others have said its hardly worth getting worked up about.

This is the best comment I have ever read about tevez:

"no offence city fans tevez is a man utd lover. not a huge fan of how sir alex used him but still a man utd fan cause he never, never stated any intent of retirement or loss of love for footy when he was man utd but he goes man city rich club and he is always like im going to retire"

Yeah Tevez's actions last season definitely showed that Tevez is a man utd fan.

I heard that too, Carlos pulled a knife and Roberto pulled a gun and shot the knife out of Carlos's hand screaming "take that motherfucking motherfucker." Then they shook hands.

Kompany threatened to glass Milner too, and Kolo was going round with a baseball bat offering people out.

Wait til Mario gets out of the womens' prison in Italy, we will be lucky if we have a team left to put out in the second half of matches then :oO

He booted the ball at the advertising board in front of us (110) first half, but thats clearly because hes pissed off that its 0-0 and we were playing shit.

Fuck the Sky media.

Exactly how I saw it Nick (I'm in 110 as well). Just after that he made that daft challenge on their keeper. He looks to me to be frustrated for the same reason that we all are, poor performances against teams we should be battering. Mancini sets the team out, I'm not surprised that they had words at H/T

He keeps shouting at the midfield that they're not getting forward quick enough to support him & I think he's right.

Tevez is one of the best players I have seen in a City shirt for over 38yrs of watching them. People don't write prevocative articles about poor players. Only if they are in trouble off the pitch. Tevez is actually a true world class player, because he has an opinion on lots of things that tug on the heart strings is great, he loves football and he loves playing in front of the City fans. Perhaps he is frustrated totally about playing on his own up front. He is looking at the bigger picture where he will either get injured or will need to be rested. Any unfit striker will not do himself justice as in other positions you can sometimes get away with things. Perhaps we should get Samaras, Corradi or that lazy, sulking, greedy, two faced fucking little brazilian back ?....he really cared about City didn't he !
