Completely agree, fed up of this shit talk of wanting him to issue a 'public apology'. He doesn't owe anyone else an apology.

Been immense this season. The WC seems to have boost his confidence, and is getting more and more involved in our build-up play as well. He's hard as rock and can sometimes make somewhat unpolished challenges, but the one on Sunday was not. It was a school book tackle, and anyone who says otherwise is either blind or has an agenda.

He was one dimensional and proved it in loads of matches..........but he seems to have added more to his game for a while now and I for one am happy how he is playing.,,long may it continue.

Fuck them all Nige.......carry on playing the way you are.

He has been very good indeed defensively, but needs to work on certain aspects of the game when we have got the ball.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

ps - I'm very dissapointed ant is the only poster who has carried on using the 'wrinkly dog' moniker. Surely everyone can see the resemblance?!

He is on the media shit list because of the WC debacle. He's one hell of a tough player and not afraid to let
his cleats do their speaking. Not his fault for playing hard and I am glad he is on our team.

I'm showing my support for De Jong by changing my signature to an image of the great man himself - I urge you to do the same in a Daily Mail style until this whole debacle is over...

Been a fan ever since he arrived and he's getting better, partly as the improved midfield means there's no need for him to get forwards.

His first job is to stop the other team playing through us and I think he's the best in the world at that. Sometimes it's ugly and occasionally someone will unfortunately ges hurt, but it's a contact sport, not netball. If they go any further down the road of banning tackling, there will be nothing to watch. Every successful team has/had one - obi mikel, makelele, Vieira, keane, gattuso. Despite the whinging, Arsenal would have been successful over the last few years with one.

Keep going, Nige, you're welcome here.

Super player. Been brilliant this year.

Don't hold back Nige or you'll lose your game.

Why do these cunts in the media start this shite now? Players have been getting their legs broken for years.

awesome awesome awesome player.

i always feel confident when he's in the team. i don't think hes a dirty player at all he's just very driven and incredibly focussed on success.

if he gets a ban for that then every player involved in leg breaks should be banned as well.

should be interesting to see how the F.A handle this, probably by caving in to the media

Quality player.

The FA have said they can't ban him because the ref saw the incident. Courtesy of Daniel Taylor on twitter

Yeah i believe thats true as the ref has admitted to seeing the incident the Fa's hands are tied by uefa rulings, as much as they would love to screw us over with another hefty ban.

Great appreciation for Dejong as a player hes world class at what he does.Such a determined player, i love his attitude on the pitch.
