Team for the seaside

Postby brite blu sky » Fri Oct 15, 2010 2:33 pm

Back to proper football after another stupid intnl break.

Going to be interesting this one, Blackpool prepared to play football, so what is Mancini's response?
Will we finally see two up front.. im going for yes with Ade starting. Also looks like Yaya might be out
which is not a bad thing imo.

Hart
Richards - Kolo - Vinne - Boateng
deJong
Silva - Barry - Milner
Tevez - Adebayor

AJ for Barry in the second half, with Milner moving central.

Agree with BBS. But there's always the danger he will play Vieira instead of Yaya, not Ade!

I would say 9 out of 11.

I'll go with this, maybe Silva for AJ, can't decide. Silva for Milner would be even better but that is unrealisticly positive, I guess

Hart
Boateng Kolo Vinnie Zab
Barry NdJ Milner
AJ Ade Tevez
Martinez

Not sure of the formation, but I'd like to see Milner used in his favoured central midfield position, linking up with Tevez, and AJ out wide

Would be surprised if Mancini decided to go for two up top and think/hope Johnson will start after having a positive effect against Newcastle. Bearing that in mind, and praying to god that he doesn't call up Vieira, I'm gonna go for.......

Boateng--Kolo---Kompany---Lescott

Milner might favour cent mid but even England dont play him there so not much chance Bobby will imo.

Me too, I'd be more than happy with that. AJ coming on on the hour mark running them ragged

If both Boateng and Bridge are fit, as seems to be the case, we should have some of those attacking fullbacks that seem to affect our formation according to Bobby. Bridge is no Kolarov, but he is an attacking full back. Richards also fits in this category, although we are still training him not to forget to come back!

Revised effort:

Hart
Boateng Toure (K) Komps Bridge
DeJong Barry Silva Milner
Tevez
Adebayor

Should be attacking enough to get the targeted 3 pts and I feel Ade planned to swop with Carlito for the midweek fixt.

Sorry had very few free time last days so I missed reading the always worth DH's reports.
I'd amend my fault by swoping Joleon for Kolo, even if I'd be glad to see a whole Belgian pair of CBs too.

Can't wait to see the first goal scored by Nige, and it gonna happen today....:-)

Both Vinnie and Jolean seem best suited to the left berth of the CB pairing, so I wonder if Dedryk or Jerome will be brought in if Kolo doesn't make it, leaving Zab to cover RB?

The team he has worked with each day this week was:
Joe
Boateng,Kolo,Vinnie,Bridge
NDJ,Barry
AJ Milner
Ade,Tevez

He might not go with this of course and especially if Kolo is missing. Logic suggests Lescott if Kolo isn't fit but I wouldn't be surprised if he moved Boateng into the middle.
