How will Mario take to the premiership? If he has a short fuse as is suggested he will be targetted and must be a likely sending off possibility

His signing will prove to be the biggest single transfer that moved the power from the scum to us. Not just the fact that it broke their hearts - or the fact that he chose us...

Imagine he was still at United - he would have taken over from Rooney over the last 8 months at least. Baconface knows he has his tireless talisman that could play for another 5 or six years at the top of his game and also that he just spent 25m and he's now worth double that. He'd have Rooney out like a flash for 50m (for a couple of decent players) and United would still challenge, no doubt.

Except he chose us, and whilst we've weakened United's squad, more importantly, we took what would have been United's best option since Rooney's decline... and, in turn, their best chance at continuing to challenge in the future.

He was my dream signing at the time and he's the biggest reason (by some way) that we are now considered to be title challengers.

So yes, I do love him.

Poor first touch, doesn't score enough, just an impact player. No wonder Taggart decided to keep the money in the bank instead.

We need to love him even more, he needs a statue. Abit like Fiorentina's Gabrielle Batistuta statue outside there stadium.

Why are people mentioning balotelli in a tevez thread, he just doesnt belong here. Not on his level and never will be.

If we win anything this season it will be because of his goals and his attitude and his determination.

Tevez is a legend and i second the statue motion.

Well Carlito is topping the top scorers table.. and i would have to admit i think he has only been on song for the last game or so.
He looked like he had put something in his own mind to bed when he flicked that first goal in at Bloomfield Rd. happy wasn't anywhere near it. Then we let one in and his reaction was just.. Give me that fuclin ball! and bang in it went.

I think he has finally got up to speed reaction wise and thinking wise. so i expect now he will go on like he did last season just grabbing opportunities to bury it in the net at every possible moment. In terms of timing this season it could go well, with Silva to develop a true connection with and both Silva and Balotelli to take that little bit of pressure off Carlos during games and in general in not having to play every game. If things go well in terms of the rest of the team we could see i think Tevez excelling what he did last year and lodging himself as one of the best players in the world.
