What's the criteria?

Their products/services, their brand, their name, their graphical profile, how well their logo mixes with the sky blue shirt?

If the two last make up the criteria, I'd go for SAAB.

If the club had any sense of history at all and with all the money available from Sheikh Mansour then we should have gone the way of Barcelona and put a CHARITY on our shirts.
Instead we stick with the masses with our advertising an airline.

What about

WHO
AMNESTY
SAVE THE CHILDREN

How about a little style....

There was a bit of a campaign on here a couple of years ago to try and get the club to have Christie Hospital on the shirts instead of a sponsor.

I reckon it's a real pity that it fell on deaf ears.

Preferably blank.

The best i've ever seen was as a kid watching Oldham Athletic who had Slumberland on their shirts, an adequate summation of the football on display!

Man City sponsored by brother was very ironic.

We ourseleves are not a charity though and i don't think how having a charity on your shirt would be benefiical for the charity. Acorn said they receieved no more donations than they would of done if they weren't on Aston Villa's shirt.

I just presumed that Acorn would get a proportion of the profit for each shirt sold with their name on it.

I didn't know that, fair play to the club if that's the case.

that would be a nice gesture from the club, but something like that wont happen in the future. we need the money for the new fifa rules.. and i think barca will have to change theres aswell (with there dept)

I wonder how that will in the future?? i mean we have donated alot this season (probley more then 2mill.) and when the rule comes in, we will be counting every penny and in the first few years there will be more or less nothing to donate.
