I would like to see Adebayor and Tevez start against Arsenal.

I would choose one between Johnson and Silva to start, probably Silva in this match; he'll have more time on the ball to see a pass and run into space.

Both Silva and Johnson have turned games in our favour when coming off the bench this season. It's a great tactic to use on a tired defence and we should employ it regularily this season.

Ted has been arguing for delivery for some time, last night we saw that from Silva for Ade. Now it might be premature but part of me thinks that this needs some consideration. With that in mind im thinking of the best crossers and through ball merchants that we have. Yaya, Silva and probably Milner.

id like to see that, so: Ade, Tevez, Silva, Milner, Yaya, deJong

I'll be very surprised if it's not ...

Code: Select all

Boetang    Kompany    Lescott   Bridge
           DeJong     Barry
                  Yaya
     Silva                  Milner

A toss up between Silva and Ade - what a strange way to pick the team.
Please please please no horse pics to accompany the toss off.
City are coming to get you!

Tevez thrives on playing and doesnt need a rest. I would think he would be beyond angry if he was rested.

Tevez only needed that one game of rest. i think resting him at this point would be ridiculous, and like doug said - would upset lil carlos. id be surprised if it wasnt that squad for sunday

"Squad for Arsenal"
I like it. Other fans have "team for x" threads before games.

It worries me that Joleon Lescott and Wayne Bridge may occupy two of the defensive positions - both on the left hand side. Both have recently gotten back into the team and to be honest, Lescott looks slightly overweight and somewhat unfit.

Hart;
Micah-Vinnie-Dedrick-Jerome
Nigel-Yaya
AJ-Carlitos-Silva
Ade

No Lescott or Bridge against Walcott who's too fast for them!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

I'd guess Zab's for Jolean? He'd be my first choice but was just a little worried about the cards coming out with him up against the likes of Walcott, Nasri et al.

Or, is it Micah 'cos he played the full 90 on Thursday? Come on, gis-a-clue ;-)
