motd 1, no punditry

motd 1, no punditry

Anyone got any idea why there weren't any pundits on motd 1? Have they listened to the criticism of late, or were Hanson and Lawro on a bender?

I wasn't paying particular attention as it was only on as background noise, but Alan Shearer and Mark Lawrenson were definately on last night's program

Hmmm, I watched it this morning and they only showed Gary between the games. Maybe they cut the program time down for the re-run because of the Formula 1?

Didn't see it but they always used to do away with the in-between crap on Sunday morning, just showing the action. Then they changed that, but maybe they've gone back again, or maybe they need urgent schedule time for an athletics event in Namibia or a guy pride march in Tokyo?

Lawro wasn't there. It was Shearer & Hansen. The charisma was just oozing off the screen.

Yeah was definitely Hansen and Shearer. Hansen's punditry on the villa game was awful. Said villa should have had 2 penalties but no way were they penalties and Halsey got both decisions right. Funny how they show other teams claims for a penalty but never ours.

that first one should have been a penalty no doubt. and they haven't shown ours yet this season cos most of our games have been on a sunday!

Normally they do, though. I watch it pretty much every Sunday before I'm off to my Sunday League game, and Hansen is usually on, getting me in a good aggressive mood for my match.
