Depends what you mean as piss poor. He wasn't fit as he is now and was a scapegoat for the Hughes lovers when there were many who were performing lesser than him.

I thought Vieira was well past it I have to admit. Always happy to be proved wrong in that situation. He looks like he really has a role to play on the pitch, and if what people are saying about him off the field is true, then fair play. Paddy V all is forgiven.
