Damn, working, that video was emotional, even though I never experienced that era.

Choker!

I remember that day when he strode across to the Kippax, to turn the jeers to cheers, as if it was yesterday.

I shall be unashamedly tearful tomorrow. Am going to see if I can get my mate Derek (massive City fan since the 50s) who drives the sky blue dedicated City taxi to go along. Think it would be nice touch from the cab trade.

Anyone else going to attend at the ground?

Just got back from Southern Cemetery wher Big Mal was finally laid to rest. It was very touching as everybody clapped the cortege, they had a short ceremony playing a couple of Mals favourite songs.
Lots of famous faces present, too many to list but there were tears in the eyes of many, even Tommy Doc was there.

I was going to take a few pics, but it just didnt seem appropiate, although a few other people did

What was funny was that there was abottle of champagne on ice next to Big Mal, I would imagine quite a bit of that is getting supped as I type back at COMS.

A truly emotional day

RIP BIG MAL, YOUWILL BE FOREVER IN EVERY TRUE BLUES HEART, GOODBYE AND GOD BLESS

Well pissed off...The cortege was advertised to be at the stadium from 2.30-2.45. I got ther at 2.15, started to walk up at 2.20, only to meet people coming away telling me it was all over and the cortege had already left.

There were others who missed it who were not happy at all.
