Funny how Bellamy couldn't get on either but a guy who has played 4 games in 2½ years can.

well, you don't hear johno running his gob to all and sundry, and when he does say something it's generally how thankful he is for the support of city and how much he wants to come back for the club. strange.

Hard to run your gob when you've got a pint permanently attached to it.

probably why it came easier for bellers ... he only had sparky's limp welsh dick, apparently not much of an obstacle at all

Pathetic.

Yes sunshine, you are of course correct. The longer I hang around here the more I am disappointed with people claiming to be City fans. One of our best players last season can't make either 25 as opposed to someone who played a single cup game last season and spending his rehab time pissing it up on his nice new fat contract and couldn't guarantee he would play at all this season, who made both. The obvious reason was Bellamy is gay and sucking the dick of the ex-manager.

An actual point=me.

No fucking point or clue or respect for a very good and performing player treated very shabbily by our club=lola.

And EVEN if he wanted to make the point about him running his gob and continue with that, Tevez is in the fucking newspaper every week with some problem or blow-up or moan and yet he is fucking bulletproof because he performs....Bellamy was performing for us, where is the point again?

Like I said, disappointed and over spelling out the fucking obvious to morons who's grasp of football is tenuous at best.

I'm with Slim.

If we had 25 players better than Bellers then fair play get rid of the big mouth, but Johnno, RSC and Jo?

Be-fucking-have.

If Bellers is a big mouth, sort him out. It's not like he wasn't expecting to be rotated, he said as much in his 1st week and was just happy to be a part of it. Fuck it he went to Cardiff, so it's not like he angled for a big move. Manager didn't like him, left him out the squad and forced him out. End of.
Tracking back is overrated.

Have to say that I am still bemused about Bellers going. A demon in training, gives his all in matches and surely is a better option from the bench than the likes of Crocky Cruz and Jo. So, he might have a big gob, but surely the greater good is MCFC and personally think we could have done with him a few times this year. Anyway, I guess there isnt a lot of point going on about it, as he will be Cardiff for the season.

Shame about Johnson. he has the brain to be a great footballer but unfortunately I don't think his body is desgined for it. Sincerely hope I'm wrong but I doubt he'll see much more top flight football.

Whilst I agree that Bellamy was a very valuable player (and I would also have liked him to stay) I think we have to accept that Bobby won't tolerate trouble makers upsetting the mood at the club. Robinho was shipped out when he spat his dummy out, Petrov was soon moved on after speaking out in the press and Bellers was dealt with in a similar way.

It's always sad to see ood players leave but I think Mancini is more interested in doing what is best for the club than a few individuals.

If Bellamy were still here and playing, he'd be in the UEFA and Prem squads. We're obliged to fill the squad if he have the players on the books. RSC didn't make the Europa Squad because of the different way they treat U21 players, but Logan and Etuhu are in the prem squad.

Whatever the reasons might be for Bellamy leaving, it wasn't to free up space in the prem squad, we had room for him. Claiming so just shows your ignorance and is disrespectful to Johnson for no real reason. It's not MJ's fault that Bellamy went, so why have a go at him over it.

There are players who left who I'd rather have seen stay, and players who've stayed who I'd rather have seen left. Johnson, with his injury situation would probably not have been given a prem spot if there was genuine pressure, but we had to give it to someone. Ned, Ireland, Bellamy, Caicedo, Garrido, Robinho, Bojinov, Petrov were all players who can point to at least one weaker player who's still here, they couldn't all have stayed but we didn't loan/sell strictly on the basis of utility (to us), there was also an element of market demand.

When we loaned Bellamy to Cardiff and everyone was saying we were ruining Championship. Five games and two goals later no one is saying it.

Maybe, just maybe, injuries finally caught up with Bellamy and Mancini knew that he wouldn't get as many games out of him as you'd expect from senior member in this 25 player system? Then again, we have RSC there, DOH.

why couldnt mancini just stick to the training regime that bellamy was already doing when mancini arrived. i think you would have to say that the results were fantastic and very few injuries. i like mancini but i think he really fucked up letting him go.

but whats done is done. (annoying though as i watched the cardiff game the other night and bellers was out fucking standing).

That's exactly what brought him to mind when I read this. Looked head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch and would be an asset to any top flight team.

I was wrong about Etuhu, though it doesn't change my point, and right about RSC official

The prem squad was only announced after Bellamy left. He was definitely leaving, that's true, but he wasn't leaving because there wasn't space in the 25, certainly not because of Johnson, we could have accommodated him if Mancini had wanted him. The fact that we loaned him to Cardiff at a big loss showed how much City wanted rid of him out of the squad.

What exactly is the point about discussing Bellamy in a thread about Michael Johnson's rehab?
