I see you have issues Slim, thinking about me with 'Girl Parts'. I'll casually leave you to it, enjoy.

And you are looking for 'pretty' football players. Denial, delusion, who can say...but 'issues' are a certainty.

As both a Rag and a Mexican, there's almost too much Chicharito for me to hate.

Just waiting, usually these young strikers they sign play a couple of games, score a couple of goals, heralded as the next Cantona and then in 6 months they are in the reserves until they can get shipped out or loaned. (see Macheda, Rossi, Wellbeck)

Hernandez is class, hopefully he'll break a leg or summat and ruin his career

I agree on Macheda and Welbeck but Rossi is class, i'm not just saying that because he's Italian, he may not be Messi or Eto'o but he scores his fair share of goals, can pick a pass, etc. Not world class, but good enough to play for them imho, considering the level they are at now.

The recent backheader that Hernandez scored was a real goalscorer's goal & indicated far more actual skill at heading than big fuckers like Adebayor or Kenwyne Jones who regularly head against the bar or over from easier positions. I must admit, that made me sit up & take notice more than anything else he's done, (mostly finishes/runs which could easily be repeated by someone like Sturridge) as it indicated either he's a natural or has worked on his weaknesses to give himself an edge. Sturridge will never score a header like that as long as he lives as it would never occur to him to learn how to do it & practice it.

It's too early to say whether Hernandez is the real deal. As Slim says there are a lot of 'flash in the pan' type players. Anyone who is willing to work on his game & has natural ability & pace has a good chance though. Imo most players in the Prem could be 50% better than they are but they're a bunch of lucky, lazy, cunts. Hernandez seems like a grafter.

To be fair he does look good, but kissing the badge after being at the club for 5 mins is pretty twatish.

I actually thought he was one of the standouts at the WC as well. Kept it to myself though, knowing he'd signed for them and fingers crossed would go on to be a flop.
The thing I can't stand with him is he's printed his nickname all over his shirt, one thing if you're brazilian but come on. What kind of a nickname is Chicharito anyway. The "-ito" ending I know means little. Chica, I always thought meant girl. The whole name would then translate "little girl" but since it ends with an o, it's a masculine form, so in fact "little boy-girl"? The real translation is apparently "little pea" which is just as silly, really

Chícharo is what they call a pea in parts of Latin America (guisante in Spain). '-ito' as you say is a diminutive suffix. Thought you'd be the expert with a name like Martínez! Aren't you the one who got the Spanish O-Level in 'Porridge'?

I think its fucking ridiculous that players can put their nickname on the back of their jersey. Does that mean that Ireland would have been allowed to have Superman on the back of his jersey, or would the FA have something to say about that??

When you think about it, both Robinho and Ronaldinho are not there real names and although only slight alterations, should they really be allowed? As for the Hulk, the that's just blatant bullshit, same as the 'Little Pee'.

Yeah mate - where's the line?

If I was a footballer I'd just go balls out and have "Handsome Cunt" on the back of my jersey.
