First post for a while, never been convinced of Mancini, that showing was typical of how he wants us to play, for me it will never work in the premiere league, I think he will be gone sooner rather than later.

No manager I can remember in my life time has had the advantages that Bobby Manc enjoys. We are going backwards though. Everybody was saying that if you win when you play badly then it's a good sign. Well fair enough if they were isolated games. But we have only played well once against Liverpool, and put in a spirited effort against Chelsea to win with a battling performance.
The rest has been pretty bad. Sunderland a was awful, Blackpool a Newcastle h were shocking efforts that we got away with. We aint getting away with it now though.
It's been clear to see.
Getting to second early season was merely papering over the cracks.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Tevez has been carrying the team on his back. Last season it was Tevez & Bellamy, now it's just Tevez.

I think Bob needs to go back to his boring style with 5 in midfield because as soon as he changes it, the team falls apart under pressure. He's tried to run before he can walk.

You really are becoming a blue mate! Your other team is playing and you're still here. ;o)

If you get the chance you should always finger your mistress.

You have to pay to KUMB during match time! Make of that what you will.

Terrible results for both of our teams today, yours just a touch less predictable than ours.

Still, onwards and upwards.

When you look at the area of the park where both goals came from (the top of the box) you appreciate the value of Nigel De Jong just a little bit more.

Agree 100% - I think us fans (well some of us) and the media have been on at him to play a more expansive game - we´ve tried it and hey presto we start leaking goals. We weren´t ready for that step and now it´s back to basics and if we want to go on a run we´d better just bite the bullet a bit on the gung ho stuff and start racking up some points again

First time this season on the game-2010/11 versus game-2009/10 direct comparisons that we have slipped below last season. We are two points off last season now.

Two less points than last season pal.

And the football is far, far worse. At least under Hughes we had excitement. Mancini's City rarely look comfortable in the latter stages, and never score those delicious late winners other top sides get so frequently. Rather, when we do win we are hanging on desperately for the final whistle because of Mancini's negativity. Also, other clubs' players rally around when needed; ours bugger off for a holiday in Argentina to be with their family (because they have a "dead leg").

Agree. Didn't one of the shite teams like Boro or Birmingham or whatever give the money back to the fans who travelled to see a 4-0 defeat or so?
Imo today was so poor that should be done by us, especially with the money we have.

I can't remember which team (or division) it was - but I DO remember it was the players who collectively decided to refund them

Wolves hadn't won a match in 8
Milijas scored his first goal for Wolves
Edwards hadn't scored in 13 months.

Typical City ? You bet it is.

Apart from Silva and Ade and Milner on ocassions , all the others were terrible especially our defence. Can't really understand how bad they were today even the ever dependable Kompany. Kolo gifted them the 2nd and Richards was an open street for the Wolves winger and that after he had a cracking match against Arse ! Don't know what to say about Boateng but he looks lost.

And to top it all, some baffling changes from Mancini: Ade off and Mario plays 90 minutes !!!

I think the players paid back City fans after losing 4-0 to Charlton in the Premier League. Alfie Hangeland paid for the petrol at a Service Station for City fans travelling back. Respect!

I am fuckin sick of hearing the expression

...they * gave everything they'd got against us..

replace * with Wolves, Blackpool, Newcastle, Blackburn, Sunderland, Burnley, Hull etc etc

IT'S NOW TIME FOR OUR OVERPAID PRIMA DONNAS TO DO THE SAME!!

Mancini is a nice guy. IMHO he is a shit manager. Where is his man management. WHere is his tactical nous. When you spend gazillions of pounds on players they need a different type of psychology to get them to knit together. Hughes didn't have it. I have now come to the opinion that neither has Mancini.

We need a world class manager

I know. I know. I know

WHO?

HIddink, Mourhino, Rikaard, Mick Macarthy?

We need a manager who hates losing as much as I do! (I am suicidal at the moment!)

We don't want a... oh dear, never mind, there's always next week.

We want a monster who will kill to get what he wants.
