We'll never sack him yet though, unless things go really bad, the owners will have seen the shit they got in the press when Hughes got the boot and won't fancy doing it again, given that Mancini is 'their' man.

Fucking get a grip, moaning fuckers, we lost today so suck it up, pick up your toys and step back and take a look at the fact that we're still a growing team with key players just coming back from injury, what do you want? Fucking Hughes?

I never post on here but always like to see all the comments from everybody good and bad but today I just had to come on and express an opinion and I have to say today is the day I lost faith with Mancini and what he is trying to do.

There are only a few players at this football club that have deserved their pay this season and they are Hart, Kompany, Zabeletta, Barry (for his Liverpool and Chelsea performances) and Tevez (all pre-Mancini signings) and one of our best players from last season is at Cardiff on loan. Oh yes and Mancini brought in David "I hate City" Platt as an interpreter. WTF is going on.

Garry Cook get a grip son otherwise it will be the biggest loss of money since Nick Leeson took hold of the cash at Baring Brothers.

Every single City fan who went to Wolves today should get their money and travel costs paid back by the players and Mancini for putting up with that drivel.

What an egotistical fuck, can't believe you've not changed the title to 'Mancini Out'. I don't have a clue who to bring in, but to lose thst in the manner that we did is just a disgrace!

I'm glad I've got the dog here, he's calmed me down no end.

Mancini out!

I think he is trying to accomadate certain players thus playing them out of postion this in turn is making us lob sided.I don't think he has a clue who his best 11 is and where to play them. I think he needs to give Milner a run in the centre as this is where the lad excelled at Villa last season instead of plonking him on the wing just so he is in the team. I would drop Barry for him or even Yaya.

At the back we seem to have reverted to type and started to leak again much in the same fashion as last season. We started off really well last season and then started to let goals in pretty much as we are doing now. Maybe a settled back 4 is the answer but who will be out right back as both don't seem to be setting the world on fire at present. Micah blows to hot and cold for my liking and Boateng is trying to get to grips with the prem. So God only knows the answer to that.

Just talking to Ant but I also think motivation is key in football and you have to be able to motivate players for all types of games and IMO this is where he let's himself down badly. I think you can tell the difference between how the team lined up against Chelsea, where they were all flying into tackles and backing each other up to how they were Vs Newcastle where it was flat and we got lucky. I'm aware this is also down to the players but I doubt you would have seen the same antics from some this week if we were building up to the Derby. Mancini has to take some of the blame here. Sorry to say it but some don't look arsed.

City's owners need to be ruthless, not only in getting rid of underachievers, but in bringing in the very best talent. Mancini falls some way short of being "the very best talent", as do players like James Milner. There are serious problems at City that inept displays recently (Newcastle, Blackpool, Arsenal, Wolves) only hint at - few clubs could have blown so spectacularly the tens of millions both Hughes and Mancini have been/were given. Don't be fooled by our lofty league position, we are as bad/ordinary as we have ever been in the last seven or eight years. Only worse to watch.

Top 4 teams dont lose 2 games in a row, let alone Champions.

Todays results is a shocker, Wolves have been playing well and we should have seen it coming, its just proper fucking annoying.

If we play a couple more matches like the last 2, then the players will start doubting Mancini, the fans will feel it, Mancini wont get sacked until the summer at the earliest, and it could become a right laughing stock.

Players, winners, like Tevez, Adebayor, Yaya, etc etc, know what a team should "feel" like, how it should play, how it should react in a match. If the manager cant get 11 players playing better than the sum of their parts, then players lose confidence in themselves and the manager. With our dressing room, full of big characters, I can see it spiraling down quickly, unless we pick up wins in our next games.

Please please please can we go on a awesome winning streak until Christmas, get a couple more players in, and kick on for a comfortable top 4 position.

Top 4 should be our aim, we will not win the league, we wont even be within 10 points. Top 4 is an absolute must.

Ridiculous excuse & unacceptable performance. If we were back a year ago then fair enough but the whole idea of sacking the last manager was to be above this level of performance by now. That doesn't mean we never lose, it means we look like a side whether we we win lose or draw & see some development. We looked much better & a class above as a team v Wolves last season.

Perfectly put you talk perfect sense!

But if ordinary fans can see it why cant "professionals" see it... its frustrating.

The leaking of goals has coincided with the arrival of Boateng into the first team. Not sure if they are related; time will tell.

I'll forgive him if he gets a win against the rags. On recent showings though, I am very much in doubt that we'll see that.
we have the players with the ability to absolutely rip them to shreds, but I haven't seen us rip anybody to shreds.

Personally, my jury is out on Mancini. But its hard to see where things are going to improve. All the stories surrounding Barry, Hart and Johnson don't help. If he is losing discipline he'll soon be on his way.

Needs to sort it out, quick, imo.

Why when ever anyone dares criticise mancini on here do they get hit with the 'lets bring back hughes' remark? What the fuck as hughes got to do with it? People who were supposedly glad to get rid of him do a whole lot of fucking talking about him.

Mancini made stupid substitutions and tactical decisions today.

He's making subs, switching the system to accommodate the subs then before it even has a chance to bed in makes another sub and changes the system all over again.

Bringing a defender on for a striker when we're 2-1 down is fucking daft

It's part of it but I think it's more to do with the constant changing of the back 4 & the formation & tactics in front of them. He spent ages getting them to play to a rigid formation like robots, which made us solid defensively & hard to beat. Now it's like he's been possessed by the ghost of Ozzy Ardiles & he just chucks players out willy nilly into different positions & formations for every game.

I hate to say it but a lot of our problems are being directly created by Bob & he's endangering his position & our season. A couple more tactical shambles like the 2nd half & Marwood will be on the phone to Khaldoon. I'm sure Bob can build a PL winning team but I just can't follow what the fuck he's playing at. It would be a tragedy if he gets fired imo & could do untold damage to the club.

Redknapp over Mancini
Balotelli is the new Bojinov

Just some of the insane OTT ramblings by modern day football fans on the internet after a defeat.

I'm off for a chinese, watch the X Factor with the family.

See you next week lads!

p.s i thought Zabaleta for Adebayor was a strange and bad decision, doesn't mean i wish we had Redknapp with his solitary league cup win though

Because the alternative would be to discuss football & you're going to find it almost impossible to do that honestly without admitting some kind of fault in Manci's performance.

Let's hope we win the next 5 then you can pretend it was all part of a plan.

Nope

Thought it was a poor performance from 30mins onwards, and wouldn't of done the subs he did today but doesn't mean i should overreact.

Wanting another manager out after less than a year and advocating Harry "one league cup win at 62" as his replacement whilst comparing Balotelli to Bojinov after one full 90 mins is not discussing football Ted, it is discussing shite, and for that reason, i'm having no part of it as it will only wind me up.

By all means, discuss the performances, who played bad, who played good, what should the manager of done but can we leave these OTT pathetic knee jerk reactions whilst doing it? What am i thinking? This is modern day football where no team can dare to lose a game without fans suggesting wholesale changes.

Will be worried.

Targets

Prem Champions - Gone
Carling Cup - Gone

Chumps League - Stll There
Europa League - No Chance (to many games and better teams)
FA Cup - Who Knows

New Players
Yaya - Does not suit the prem
Milner - Nothing Special
Boateng - Needs to get to grip quickly with the prem
Silva - Absolute Class
Kolarov - Lets wait and see.
Balotelli - Lets wait and see.

Our owners will expect nothing less than Chumps League , a couple more defeats (WBA & Scum) which is definately possible and he will be in trouble.

I don't think most people are suggesting wholesale changes. They're just discussing a dire performance by team & manager & wondering why. I put it down to too much tinkering, as I did v Arsenal & have predicted this could happen.
