We need another central midfielder?

We need another central midfielder?

Postby paulmclaren » Thu Nov 04, 2010 8:05 pm

Veira shouldn't get another game for us in no circumstances, he's very leggy and well past it, still decent on the ball but basically shit now.
We need a new central midfielder, opposite to a de jong type of player.
Can't believe we just got mullard by a team like this, proves how much some of these big named charlies need a kick up the ass, and in some cases, on the fucking dole que.
Not good enough at all.

Mancini bought one in Milner and insists as playing him the front 3 or out wide.
Tracking back is overrated.

make you laugh dont it, paid well over the odds and them play him in a different formation to the one he played when we bought him.

Honestly the more you think about his decisions...

If I'm honest i would of never brought mancini in, he is hardly the most experienced of managers, we needed someone with continental experience like that ex Russian coach who managed Chelsea for a while?
He would of been ideal, he knows what it takes, mancini doesn't he only ever managed in Italy.

We need a another ball playing central midfielder in the mold of Fabregas/Wilshere/Xavi ect who are comfortable on the ball and makes the team tick. Barry, Milner, Vieria, Yaya Toure are all abit pedestrian and treat the ball as a hot potato.

A fit Michael Johnson would be great in our side, someone who attracts the ball like a magnet and gets the team going.

Im sorry to say it but im quickly losing faith in mancini not just because we lost 3 games but his decisions on playing qaulity players in positions they do not like, i think the players are becoming pissed off with the more they keep being asked to do things they have never done.

We have good players but playing them in the wrong position is stupid and all he is doing is trying to copy mourinho.

I've always rated him (even if he is a twat) and he'd show a hell of a lot more desire than some of our over paid "superstars". He hasn't the same ability but what he lacks he sometimes makes up for in effort.

What used to annoy me with him was that he tried to play to many gerrard type balls and try and run the show by doing stuff he couldn't do. Now he keeps it simple and only plays a decent ball when it is on and he's looking allright.

Everything seems a little too deliberate and a little too slow. City don't move the ball quickly enough for me and it is all so contrived. There is a distinct lack of energy that turns us from defence into attack as a unit and a dangerous force.
There is no point putting the long ball to Ade, he rarely gets on the end of stuff and too often simply runs beyond the defender who clears the ball unopposed.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Fuck me, if any more evidence were needed about how shit we have been in the last couple of weeks, an apparently serious debate about the merits of getting Barton back is the icing on the fucking horrible cake. Speechless.

Thanks Joey.

It's all about what you put into the game.
Players like Barton will always shine minus the red cards, and players like ade will always be criticised for there lack of effort.
But one thing is for sure, these fuckers are modie cuddled 24/7 for 10-13 years.
The least they could do is show respect and try there hardest.
But as there in there misd 20s, you can see why they want to do different like go on the piss etc, minus whatever money they have in the bank.
We'd be the same right?
I can understand players like yaya toure coming out in the open and questioning players for there lack of effort etc.
He's been at a magnificent club every club every player should be tought after, Barcelona.
He knows the winning mentality and can see it in the players day by day who have not got it and there the ones letting city down.
But the actions he took was not good at all if true, he should be sold if he carry's on.

Wanting Barton and being fearful of newly promoted West Brom. It's like we've gone back to 2006.
