Too early to say.
Let's play WBA first. (don't include Poznan as who knows who we're going to put in our XI there) Another poor performance against a weaker opponen like today withouth Tevez and I just might get worried. Not quite yet.

Tevez has pretty much single handedly got most of our points this season so looking at the first 9 games as a basis to make a decision then yes we are a one man team with 10 other individuals looking average.

No, but what is kind of evident is that while having flexible players we have only learn't one way to play.. so in effect we are reliant on that way with the players that make that work.. so make your own mind up.

The two hardest workers in the team were missing.. and as a consequence both front and back were struggling to put the pieces together.. possibly more so at the back.. and with less excuse, at least the attack line hasn't played much together so there has to be some leeway there.

My conclusion is that it takes longer than you think to gain a seamless squad, early days and im sure there will be more hard lessons to come.

If mancini would stop being a prick leaving AJ out we wouldnt be. We would be a 2 man team.

I wouldn't put that much faith in AJ mate if i were you, he's good but not that good yet.

The thing is that we will have to play that formation again this season and we have to make it work.. without Tevez and yes without deJong. It is a learning process and we didn't get away with it on this occasion.

To be a consistently top team you cannot rely on any one player.

Id much rather have AJ on or SWP than milner or barry.

I'm still trying to understand the logic of loaning out CB to Cardiff. It looks even more nonsensical at the moment. And why doesn't he give RSC a game? No wonder he wants to leave in January. He'll be closely followed by Carlos Tevez as he appears to be thoroughly fed up of Bobby.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

Yes, we are absolutely a one man team, and if people cannot see just how reliant we are on one player, or it has taken 2 defeats for this question to even be raised, I have to say that there are a load of football retards reading this board.

We still do not have anyone with the key to the opposition's defence, and even then, we have nobody with the intelligence to make the runs. Until we do, Tevez's chasing, harrying and sheer persistency is the single factor that has us at the top of the table. If Tevez is off form/well marked/not there at all, I think it is pretty obvious that we will lose away from home, and struggle at home when playing premier league opposition.

It doesnt help that the manager has thrown all his eggs in one basket with Tevez, but clearly that is the reason he bought Balotelli, and I think the next few weeks will see Mancini either figure it out and swim, or he will sink without a trace and be struggling for a job next season.

I would argue that today perhaps teh player we missed teh most was De Jong. Especiecially for teh second you can't helpo but think if he had been playing he woudl have stopped that shot.

Clearly earlier in the season we were defensively solid, which meant that one goal would win it. The expectation was that Tevez would get that goal, hence we did well.

Now, we seem a little shaky in defence so have been conceding regularly, and also seem incapable of unlocking a defence without Tevez's workrate, so even had we not let that shot past, we still would have drawn as we probably wouldn't have scored had we played till 7pm.

This is not about today, this was always going to happen as soon as Carlos was out of the side. Take out De Jong who has probably been our 2nd best player, and we might as well have stayed at home today

Yes, it's a one man performance, and it's not Tevez. If it was, I'd be there for the beer!

Wouldnt say we are a one man team yet myself, but I wouldnt argue with anybody who thought we were. IMO we are a collection of individuals at the mo with varying degrees of ability. Siva being up there and Barry not for example.

"City have not won a league game without a Tevez goal since January 31, when they defeated Portsmouth 2-0"

Thats a pretty worrying statistic! No way with all the attacking creativity in that side (Silva, AJ, Milner, SWP, Ade, Ballotelli) should we be relying so heavily on one player for goals. Its ridiculous!!

Hart? Kompany? Nigel De Jong?

We're not a one man team but without Tevez we'd be severely buggered as an attacking force. They're a great bunch of individuals who just need to gel as a unit and understand each other more than they do now. That will take time.

Adebayor Silva, Ballotelli and AJ would WALK into any other premier league team at the moment,

How the hell can we be a one man team with players of that quality? I know there not all strikers but I'm trying to say that as part of the attack, we shouldnt be any better or worse without Tevez, in theory.

We HAVE to beat West Brom and get things moving upwards again. Thing is, I just dont think we will beat them.

We are without doubt a ONE man team.

Tevez's heroics up front on his own have papered over the cracks this season which are are starting to show through now he's AWOL in Argentina.

Please come back soon Tevez!

Balotelli would walk into any prem team?

Based on his performance last week I don't think he'd walk into many Championship teams RIGHT NOW.
