Much better today, my only gripe with Bobby was not taking Balotelli off a lot sooner - as soon as he was yellow carded. That decision/lack of could have cost us the points. I also would have liked to see Zabaletta off a lot earlier for the same reason.
But on the flip side, the players looked well up for it and that's not possible if what the press is trying to tell us is true.
A win against the scum and pressure should ease on him for the time being.
We'll need to go on a excellent run to turn our "trajectory" into 70 points or above, so the next few games in particular are vital.
Do it bobby!

You mean, a run of winning the next game?
23pts/12games=1.917ppg
1.917ppg*38games=72.8pts.

According to his post match interview he was trying to take him off but he was sent off before he had a chance. It was clear to everyone what was coming. Mario had lost his marbles again. I hope he cuts that stupid shit out of his game. Mancini also said they'd appeal. Not a cat in hells chance of that getting overturned.

I'd like to see us appeal, just so he's available as an option against the rags. Worse case scenario, he gets a four match ban and is available against the filth... those four games being Birmingham, Fulham, Stoke and West Ham.

Take out the poor players he inherited, and replace them with his fit again buys to the good players he inherited and you will get regular performances like today.
Make no mistake, today was a fantastic win. We played great football and at the same time restricted WBA to play an alien long ball game. WBA are a good side and we made them look average.
Huge win for Mancini today. Delighted his name was sung so loudly at times aswell which i was told he appriciated by sending the players over at the end of the game.

Ye during the game.Mancini gave AJ the call to come on and as he was getting ready Mario got sent off.
Literally 1 min sooner and Mario wouldnt hav been red carded.
On another note..Thought the fans were amazing today...The 12th man indeed.

dont know if anyones noticed this but even with our well documented current crisis here is the form guide over the last 6 games.
CITY 12pts
everton 12pts
scum 12pts
chelsea 10pts
newcastle 10pts
liverpool 10pts
arse 9pts
notlob 9pts
sunderland 9pts
not as bad as it would seem eh?
its funny how we are the ones singled out in the media though.

Exactly.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

To be a little bit fair I think it's both us and Liverpool who are singled out - always in crisis. Whereas the same performances and results from Spuds/Dodgy Arry and Scum dont get commented on.
The bias in commentary, say on Soccer Saturday, when Scum are struggling to beat someone it's OK but when City aren't 4 up at half time we're a waste of money/sack Mancini etc.

I love to defend City players. And when I first saw that incident it looked little more than a skirmish of arms and legs. But the more I watch it the more it looks like he kicked out. I really can't see it as a clear case of unjust punishment from the ref. Part of me wants us to merely shut up and take what is coming, we've got Ade scoring after all, but at the same time I think Mario could provide a very interesting option against the Filth. Filth did it with Rhombus Gob last season to us and I think it might be worth taking an extra match ban for it. It seems that is Mancini's preferred method. So perhaps it's worth it for the extra game.

Come on Blues.

They were going on and on and on about our crisis until we scored the second. Taped Arsenal game and watched it later and apparently results like these sometimes happen even for top 4 sides.

It's been fucking ridiculous the way that they've deliberately tried to create an environment to get a bloke removed from his job. There was one piece I read by some twat who claimed to be an ex City fan, which was pure hatred. I can't imagine anything that Mancini can possibly have done to him which would deserve that. The fact of all the City fans singing Mancini's name is a really good thing imo & that result could be a turning point for him & the club. A defeat could have meant intolerable pressure but now, even if we don't beat the rags (which I think we will), we have a hell of a run of mostly potentially winnable games & a transfer window, smack in the middle. West Brom away was a harder game than most we have coming up imo. Just have to man up in the Euro games & we could be in for a good two months or so.

Played for a draw and got one.
The one time the scum are off form and he plays cowardly tactics...............what a fucking let down.
Fucking hipocritical cunt with his "winning mentality"-that was the most cowardly performance Ive seen for a long time..gutless and spineless.

Dissapointed ab out the approach.
Dissapointed in seeing players revealed being to slow
Some comfort that they didn't score in E.T
For the first time in many years it was the unwashed that rised to the occasion. That is a sign.

I dont know why people are sayin the scum are off form. They aint lost a game since April..I thought both teams were brill in defence tonight and it was going to be hard to get a goal.
I am happy with a point at this stage. We can expect much more attacking play when Mario is back.
